I know I've asked for this before, but I'd really like to see a forum for questions that are related to software design only - patterns, object models, best practices, etc.

I agree with Dunlap. I need this forum too.

It would be a great forum, its a subject that very much interests me. Unfortunately i believe it would be abused & have the total wrong type of questions posted... hell people cant even get coding questions in the right place some of the time!
Current blacklist
svmilky - Extremely rude | FeRtoll - Rude personal emails | ironstrike1 - Rude & Obnoxious behaviour

That would be great!

I agree, it's the next logical progression in the maturity of CodeProject as a site for professionals.

Code Project is on of my favorite Websites.
One reason is I can access 50 posts at a time using Internet Explorer (even Off- Line). It is good to my father’s telephone bill.
I’m learning Java and I’m looking for a Java forum, but I couldn’t find any java forum like Code Project forums.
Other forums, I can access 3 or 4 post at a time and I need to connect to internet to see other posts. I do not like it.
Code Project doesn’t have a Java forum.
I wonder why

Suggestion Idea: It might be a good idea to have a link to the java forum on the forums page.
I have been around for a year (to the day ) and I believe I have only seen or heard this forum twice

Yes Bob X is right
Nobody knows, Code Project has a java forum. There is a space below the Sopebox –off- topics ranks link ( right to Get Together link). You can add a link to java forum there.

That would be nice.
Notice that because no one knows about that forum it takes one year to fill a page of 25 messages? and most of them just say something like: "CP has a java forum? "

I'd do it for you if i could, but i don't make the rules here. My advice would be to bookmark the forum, check it regularly, answer questions if there are any... maybe write a few Java-specific articles and post 'em here... Truth is, there just isn't much positive Java talk going on here - the fact that a Java forum even exists and has any posts is a historical artifact bordering on a joke - and until that changes, the site itself isn't likely to change either.

I don’t know what the future will be. I’m new to java. But the code project’s forums are the best forums I’ve ever seen
and do not do it on behalf of me, if you think, it will be successful, do it on behalf of java users.

When I've posted at Web Development topic I find bug:
when you posting string "onclick=..." this will be replaced to "removed=..." (to post "onclick=" I used "o" code: "o" - you can use this trick to correct this bug).
Please fix this problem.
In some topics people think, that it is bug in html code.
Here is one of samples:
Topic with bug
