First, great job at CP. I have turned many folks onto CP, and have been thanked profusely.
A suggestion. I'm very interested in .Net remoting. You have some articles on .Net remoting posted, but they are spread throughout other categories. How about creating a Remoting subcategory under .Net, and at least cross-listing the remoting articles?
Thanks for your good work. CP is worth at least twice what I pay for it! (I'd use an emoticon, but I despise those things.)

Now that I've got your attention, wouldn't it be neat to use up even more CPU on the CP servers by tweaking the forum code suchly:
When somebody posts a link that doesn't already open in a new window, a small arrow img thingy is automatically inserted beside it with that link, but with target="aoaeu" (or whatever).

If I find the time to write the script to do that, then it would be even easier simply to insert the target=_blank tag so that links *do* open in a new window

Something fishy's goin on. That's for sure. I myself encountered a different problem just now a few times in quick succession.
If I reply to a Lounge post, when the page reloads I see messages 5 to 29. The first 4 are in the previous page.
I bet someone's playing with the ASP. Now we gotta catch him.

Yep - that's by design. It's done that way so that if you reply to a thread that extends over the page you will always be returned to a page that has your message visible.
I think someone complained, not long ago, about not being able to view heir message if they replied to long threads.
The other thing was caused by the Meta tag, as shog said.

I've changed the way the message positioning is done. Now it only moves you around if there is no other way to make the message visible.

Everyday there are a lot a new threads posted. Now most the time the questions get answered fairly fast, but sometimes your question gets lost, never to be answered. It would be nice if there was a hit counter that says how many people have viewed your question. If it's high, no one knew an answer, if its low, no one read it so you should post it again. About every other message board I've been to had this feature so it can't be to hard to put in.

Not necessarily. All it means is that no one bothered to answer.
Views per question really won't tell you much, and will simply increase load on the server. If there was a counter there saying 514 people viewed your question and there was no answer, does that mean no one knows or no one bothers? If the view count is 10 then will reposting means you may get another 10 views - or another 514 views. Either way if a question isn't answered then the only options are to rephrase the question and text, or dig around yourself some more (and then, of course, post an article about it  )

I noticed this earlier when I added a new reply to some posts in the lounge. It didn't take me all the way to the beginning, I think to page 2; but the thread I replied to was on page 3 or 4 (50 msg/page).
This post is the one that did it, I think... I just had just awoke when I posted so its hard to remember
