The ToggleBlock() function on that page will switch the display attribute of the target element (ForumSettings, MoreAboutYou) to "none". Then to "block". Here's where the problem comes in: those elements are table rows (TR), so initially the display attribute is table-row , not block . Switching it to block causes... issues. Instead, you could set it to an empty string (which would restore the default) or explicitly set it to table-row .

It appears that everybody is under the impression that I approve of the documentation. You probably also blame Ken Burns for supporting slavery.

The "About Us" button in the sidebar to the left on the CodeProject's home page isn't working. The server returns something like "your request is taking to long... we are unable to process it at the moment." The error page also displays information on the SqlServer(!) and Data Connection! Maybe this should be fixed before some hackers decide to exploit this...

It's busted, we know. We have this really neat, really fast replacement but we can't put it in place without a bunch of other stuff so, unfortunately, we're just pretending it's not there for the next month or so.
(Besides, we're all shy)

Hello!
Yesterday, I forgot my password to sign in web site and I clicked "Password Help" section. I both tried submitting my email address and then also my display ID to get the password by email. But it has been over 42 hours, I haven't received the email from codeproject.com. I decided to create a new account to submit this message to codeproject.com because I couldn't find any link on the pages where I would submit such problem to web master or a site builder. Would you please send my password to my email address. My previous account's display name is "JUNEYT".
Thank You.

Please take a look at the FAQ[^] for some tips and hints as to why emails aren't making it through.

Thanks Chris, I am able to get emails when one responds to my posted messages in forum for "JUNEYT". Therefore, email is working fine but I forgot the password of "JUNEYT" and and I am not able to sign in to site. I admited retriving my password via submitting my email address or my display name. However, it is not working because I did this for several times. I haven't received the password via email from www.codeproject.com.
Would you please send my password to my email address. My display name is "JUNEYT".
Thank You.

The password mails could be going to your spam folder. Set your spam filter to allow all mails from codeproject.com and you may see that the mails have been getting blocked all this while.

This post[^] appears to break the C++/MFC forum. It has an embedded html tag and seems to become the last post ever to be visible...

I would suggest that certain posts should have a link to them posted instead of going very far deep hidden. Example would be the famous classical 'Friday Post' initiated by Vikram. If you are in India, you can see this within India Friday.
For US people, this post has to be reached by multiple clicks on 'Next'.

I understand, he may have a name of whitespace
I think CP engine should trim usernames before registering.

Hi everyone!
A legend under the discussion part in everyone's profile says:
Posting status:
Lurker No Messages have been posted
Poster The member has posted up to 100 messages
Regular The member has posted from 100 up to 1000 messages
Personality The member has posted 1000 up to 5000 messages
Fixture The member has posted over 5000 messages If you see my profile, I've already reached 100 (and even more) messages. By my poster status is still "Poster", not "Regular".
Why?
Best regards,
Dmitry.
