What got me suspicious immediately was his CP bio : "sdffdsfsssdsff sdfsd sdsdfs sf s sf s"
He's a consultant with a website and he's trying to get more work. Why would a real consultant use a bio like that on a website like CP?
And then I re-read his post and it seemed like fake-Indian-English. It's probably not so obvious to a non-Indian, but to me the sentence structure did stand out as odd as if he was trying too hard.

Also, look at the word coading. He doesn't need to know the spelling of *code* if he's really into programming. What a dumb effort. Funny But I really like hunting the odd one out with you & rama..

Nish haha.. well said. You know it's really hard to imitate the natural mistakes. Particularly when imitating the Indian English.

This is to say that the articles here should not cover advanced topics? You will find many, many beginner articles on this site, and those are meant to be easy. Other then that if you can't understand something then look it up.

The button labeled "Search" used to respond to clicks by presenting a page of results. Now it just kinda sits and spins 'till something times out.
Otherwise, it's working great.
[Edit: ok, now it does seem to eventually come back with results. I'm just impatient. ]

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I tried writing to webmaster@codeproject.com but didn't receive any response.
What email address or telephone number should I use?

He does - he's just extremely busy at the moment and is trying to hunt down that article you wished to have removed. Sorry this is taking so long - I was hoping to have some good news earlier this morning

Good news? My curiosity jumps at that phrase, I get so precious little of it around my work place.

Did you perform the required sacrifice to summon the afore-mentioned Gods? Did the subject line or body of said email contain the word "urgent"? Did you wait the required 3 days (6 days if the previous question was answered "true"!) for a response??
Seriously, the CP staff is ridiculously busy working on the full .NET version of the CP site, while maintaining the current version. It may take a while to hear something back.

You are required to send in $6.99 with every email for postage and handling. Also I would recommend purchasing Platinum support package, (at US$12,000/month) which includes 24/3 instant support. Please email me if you wish to purchase the Platinum package.

Chris - I don't mean to sound alarmist here, but it looks as though somebody was doing drive by 1 votes on the forums about 2 hours ago. If you go and look at the posts that were near the top of various forums a couple of hours ago, you will find that there are a lot of 1 votes. In some cases, these are against fairly innocuous posts.

I guess he has created a new account. Lot of 1 votes in the lounge.
You could probably restrict the new users from having voting rights till a period of time and gradually increase it to a NumberOfVotes/day till they reach the silver level.
