huh? I know you're trying to be funny but I don't get it.
Someone responded to an old message. It went to an old email address that won't be available for much longer. I think any responses should be sent to the current email address, not to the one that that was used at the time of the origional post.

I think it should be like that but it is not. I think with each meassage the email address stores for that in database so it happends as you know.

No,I didn't want to be funny.I thought you want to test it if it goes to your new address so I reply you.Sorry for misunderstood.

Oh, ok I see what you were saying now. This is a new message so any responses to it go to the new address. People change email adresses all the time. I the script should look up the current one to reply.

Since you can filter the main page to show only articles in only certain categories, how about a feature to show only certain forums. For example I'm never going to read VB.NET or ASP so I'd like to not have them in my forum list.

There are some people who hate seeing the word VB, VB.NET written on the screen. They desperately want to get rid of these words in the forum list altough I how much good this will do overall.

Ofcourse not rather I love seeing them. I was really wondering what good filtering forum list would do. The list is small anyway.

I came up with this a while ago but I don't think I have posted the suggestion here.
I'm not sure how difficult this would be to implement due to the way the dhtml magic works at the moment, but how about an "expand all" featre for just the lounge. I've always wanted to expand all the posts and scroll down without having to expand each message individually. I have a feeling it would take a while to implement since it's designed to expand only one post at a time, but it's something to consider when you're bored.

Whats the problem if you click on each message ? Is that really hard?

Yes. I have a rare finger condition which causes me pain when clicking on message titles. Only on message titles though, clicking anywhere else doesn't affect the condition. And there's no cure. So if Chris doesn't implement it, I could be crippled for life.

Why? When in DHTML mode, all the message on a page are loaded at once anyway.

Exactly. That's what makes it quite plausable. The only problem is that the function to handle the message viewing is designed only for one message, it would probably take quite a while to modify it to expand all messages on the page.

This bit of code will expand all the threads on the current page(nasty hack)(can't see a simple way to collapse all the threads without changeing the way the doucment is produced - but hey i dont know much html so i could be wrong)
<script>
function Expand()
{
nodes = document.getElementsByTagName("TR");
for(i=0;i<nodes.length;i++)
{
var thisLevel = nodes(i);
if(thisLevel.style.display == "none")
{
thisLevel.style.display = "block";
}
}
}
</script>
<a HREF='JavaScript:Expand();'>Expand</a>
