Of course the "new link" button would flag the cross-post as such, allowing everyone
to ignore it right away if they choose. I know I would.

Hi guys,
Since there are many articles about WPF, WCF, and few WF, now I think CodeProject forum really needs new categories about WPF, WCF and WF.
Also I think these technologies won't fit into Vista category, since they are specific to .NET 3.0 and 3.5.
Any suggestions are welcome!
Best regards,
Eriawan K.

Thanks.
Is it possible to have a feed (RSS) for each section? What I love to do is that I wanna feed some sections (e.g. Web development, ASP.NET, C#, Lounge and etc) in my iGoogle..
Thanks and Regards,

Hi
Does any one know Why we cant attach a file with our messages? is it possible or not?
Thanks

Because that would start taking up the bandwidth and storage space of CP.
And there's people out there that would abuse this sort of thing. Besides, there's free file hosts, like stashbox and some other places.

How about an auto spell check on all my posts to replace 'teh' with 'the' as I am tired of having to modify nearly every post I make as I find yet another 'teh' in there.

Or at least like Windows Live, it must indicate the erring words with little underlines, the right click of which can display suggestions. A little AJAX is that required for the implementation of the same.

You could just be a little more careful to type the, instead of teh.
And anyway, the CP members can be your spell check

You could always use Firefox and the spellcheck plugin.

I use a spell checker within IE to solve that problem.

ieSpell?
I actually prefer WordWeb Free. Anytime, we ought to select the word and exercise a CTRL+W (the chosen shortcut) to get the meaning or suggestions for the misspelt word.

Yes. Been using it for years with nary a problem.

Today I was writing a reply to one post in ASP.NET forums. The reply was bit long with a sample code. But when I pressed submit, it took me to an error page. Usually when servers are overloaded, I used to get this error, but the message used to get posted. But today it was not the scenario. When I started to type the reply, user who posted the question deleted it !
So I guess it will be good if CP can prevent the user from deleting the message when someone is replying for it.

This problem is something like 'Browser Closed but the Session still Open'. Can't be resolved. How the server can make decision based on something happening on the client?

This is most discussed issue in ASP.NET forums. This can be done by a timeout mechanism in SQL.

It's out of date and is being replaced (in the next couple of weeks) with a new system. Sorry for any inconvenience.
