Otherwise anyone using code with an acceptable licence would have to worry about it being GPLbombed and the author claiming it always was while sending out attack lawyers.
Yeah, but that can happen in other ways too. The author might choose the CP license for the article but in the downloaded zip files, all his source code might have the GPL license in the header. In such cases I am assuming the license in the zip takes precedence over the license specified on the CP article. But it's still a disturbing thought that this could be a possibility.

Hi All/Chris,
When I run the tool over the stuff I do, it picks up the CodeProject's Style Sheet. It is complaining about the following. Line numbers may be off since I save the style sheet locally. The tool is built into Amaya[^] (put out by the W3C).

This is just as obnoxious a misfeature as unintelitext ads are.
Otherwise [Microsoft is] toast in the long term no matter how much money they've got. They would be already if the Linux community didn't have it's head so firmly up it's own command line buffer that it looks like taking 15 years to find the desktop.

Completely agree...especially since I get that and the regular tooltip display. If it had the same behavior as a tooltip (appeared after a few seconds and went away again) it might not be as bad...
Scott.

Unless you're giving me a kid sister rule waiver that's not going to happen.

Where is the legend that describes the member's status
e.g. difference between bronze and golden member
differnec between writer and contributer
I saw that legend once ago, but it dissappeared now

Thank you! Exactly the IE Add-ons WebThunder cause this problem.

After you logged on, did you see your name information in the yellow header instead of login textbox? The most probable reason might be your logon was incomplete due to failure of accepting cookies in your web browser.

Since it is a normal message, I just voted a '3' to yours. It went in. Let me now try the other options too and keep you posted.

Did you try routing through Fiddler to see what is the response?

This is an extension of the Bug Report filed over here:

I feel that this validation itself is a kind of superflous since when there is a missing logon cookie (not logged in) the submit button itself can be hidden off; replaced by a text "Signin", similar to 'Reply' and 'signin' link in forums.
