Appears so. What about the order of the list, it's not what it was yesterday, is that going to stabilize?

Can you please, specify what exactly is wrong?
Thanks.

I'll try.
For the past month or so the following forums were in the left column:
*both C++ forums
General Discussions
Design and Architecture
ASP.NET
In the center column was:
C#
Windows Forms
ATL / WTL / STL
In the right column was:
.NET Framework
XML / XSL
Those are the ones I remember and they are certainly not there now. Does that help?

Yes, thanks a lot. This really help.
I will check it later on, though.

And this is why maintaining UI design documentation isn't just an exercise in checking off ISO/CMMI/etc procedure checkboxing....
Otherwise [Microsoft is] toast in the long term no matter how much money they've got. They would be already if the Linux community didn't have it's head so firmly up it's own command line buffer that it looks like taking 15 years to find the desktop.

This article is deleted, at least that's what message says, but apparently content of the article is still there.

Mostly, when you see programmers, they aren't doing anything. One of the attractive things about programmers is that you cannot tell whether or not they are working simply by looking at them. Very often they're sitting there seemingly drinking coffee and gossiping, or just staring into space. What the programmer is trying to do is get a handle on all the individual and unrelated ideas that are scampering around in his head. (Charles M Strauss)

It's marked as deleted but the content is still there. Since the kind author placed my name on it I will probably go in and physically delete it via my profile.
Marking as deleted instead of physically deleting allows us to restore articles. We've had enough accidental deletes over the years (by us and by authors) that we decided to update and be prudent.

those Days, we have tons of empty articles submitted through the wizard.
so, my question is : would it be possible to have the "Inapropriate article content" selected automatically in the list rather than "Impossible to Download files", which happens very less often...?
|
|
|
|

I reckon is a fresh article receives vote rating of 1, it should be removed from the latest submissions top 10 window.

That will give malicious users too much power

Who me, seriously, you need to capture the empty articles and deter people from trying to get into the 'limelight' with substandard articles.

We try to do this automatically but unfortunately our code just isn't sophisticated enough. If they make even a small change to the basic template provided then we miss it.
We do try and be good about nuking the duds, but there's another option I might enable this weekend

Chris - in the old version of CP, when you clicked on a message in your Latest Comments list, you were taken to a new window to view the post. Is there any chance of that being resurrected?

Sure. Added to our Request/TODO list.
Done. Will be available in next upload.

Wow, i hated that behavior, and was rather glad to see it removed. Thanks for not being able to keep your mouth shut, Pete.

Won't be the first time someone's personal preference has been integrated into software due to them speaking up first.
