Try now.
I've created a group (The Back room Moderators) to which you are now a member (and a Manager, to boot). You and the other moderators can add new members to this group if you wish, and this group owns the Back Room.
Be good to it.

I'd say that I'll try to leave CP better'n I found it, but in truth, you've done a better job than I could hope to have done. So I'll simply try to keep other folks from screwing up your website.

Maybe there needs to be an emoticon tag. You can create/parse your own tags.
<EMOTICON> </EMOTICON>
If the text doesn't appear in the emoticon tag, it's just text.

Well, I was just going to tweak the RegEx, but if you think that will be a neater, more intuitive and seamless solution then...

Your regex for this must be a monster already...

Not sure if this is a bug. But a high vote still remains on the Message Deleted. I remember a few days back, there was a suggested posted by some one to restrain from deleting the messages once replies have come up.
I think, this case also should be considered, since it is little misleading.

So, in the articles needing approval, there's one called Linq to SQL changes in .NET 4.0. I tried to click on this one, and there's no URL behind the link - the mouse over is rendered as an I Beam.

I have noticed that if I vote "Good answer" in a programming forum, then a question is marked as "answered". I do not agree with this behaviour. In my opinion, a person who asked a question should be the only one who is allowed to say that his/her question is answered. I think the world wouldn't burn if some of people won't do that.

you are right of course.
people can indicate they like a reply (a numeric vote would be fine for that, it once existed but got removed to "make things easier");
people other than the OP can consider the matter closed (that would require all parts of the original post being answered satisfactorily) but that is not very relevant; the OP and only the OP is entitled to declare a thread closed (which he should be able to do even before all has been answered satisfactorily when he lost his interest (no longer relevant, or solved in a different way).
If I could choose, everyone could vote 1 through 5, and the OP would have an "enough, thanks" button which would mark the original post and stop further notifications towards him for that thread.

True. But a good percentage of people just don't bother visiting the forum back and updating its status when the solution suggested befits the problem.
To workaround this shortcoming and also to ensure that the forum post serves as a valuable kb for posterity, it would be better that we have this facility extended for others too. Or if you really feel that there is an over-abuse of this feature, then the forum developer should consider having an algorithm which can gather the number of positive votes and after gathering suitable weight, it can promote the solution as an accepted answer.

Very descriptive, can't seem to find a way around this. Any help?
