5 might be too small figure. If the query appears too late, then a few users would get turned away. A model similar to ASP.NET forums might be adopted which works fine in ensuring that rotten apples do not get mixed up in the basket.

HELLO!
I'm not proposing a "filter" moderation. I'm proposing a moderation, which can take place as and when required (like, if an abusive post is made, the moderator will remove it, warn the user or ban him if he repeats this stuff).
I absolutely, by no means am proposing that someone should sit and click "OK" before every message can appear on the forum! That would be insane.

Thanks for clarifying Rajesh. I think then it should be fine. Currently, I think, our BackRoom has been designed that way. If you see the headers of BackRoom, CG is one of the moderator.
Perhaps, CP Team can consider that implementation as a pilot and invest that experience of moderation to other forums too.

Great idea. I am agree with you. So many times, irrelevant questions get flooded into forums. Those need to be filtered and sorted out. But on the other side, answers may be delayed because of the late publishing of questions. Because we can not guarantee that 2-3 users will always track. I think all gold or above contributor should have rights to moderate so that the queue does not become lengthy. But I really like your idea.

Saanj,
Rajesh has just clarified that he didn't wanted a Filter Moderation but some one who can clean up the dirt immediately on detecting it so that bad stench does not remain on the surface for long. It is the third/fourth message down the first thread.

I think it's a good idea but due to work pressure and time zone more then five would be needed.

Rajesh, Excelent Idea. I think there should be some moderator for each forum.
Hope to here from Chris Soon..
Thank you.

I agree. It's a pity, but people just don't seem to Google. Having a few moderators from each continent would make answering questions a lot easier

No, we don't. We have mechanisms in place to reject messages, and we should just use it.

Not sure if this has been reported already, but the "Question Time" section on the front page has not been updated since January 15, 2009. If you are not going to be updating that section anymore then it would be better to remove it totally.

That is what it is supposed to do. I have noticed that if I set the 'Article Category' to any thing other than 'All Topics' it works fine, but it is totally out of date when I have 'All Topics' selected, which is the category I always use.
It seems to only be a problem when 'All Topics' is selected as the category.

Thank you! I was just digging into the code and that little hint allowed me to find the problem in about 2 seconds flat.

it should read: Unable to load messages due to high load. Please don't do this again

If I Select Message Header like ( Forum, Subject, Sender, Date ), and click on Quote Selected Text, Nothing is coming on the Editor for quote. But along with the header if I select couple of line its working fine. Is it a Bug?
