Thanks, I used most of 30 seconds to read it twice. Never imagined Console class was intended for AI applications. I learn something new every day.

I've read it again, with all the recent messages attached.
Now I'm convinced we need a new article group, for more philosophical stuff.
We shouldn't lose spiritual gems like this one.

You know, quite seriously, this is better than some of the serious articles that get submitted. If the author had waited until April 1 he would have gotten Article of the Month.

The latest articles list on the homepage is only showing 6 articles and 9 blogs.
It's showing 10 tips, but Luc's PRE tip is shown twice.

Thanks for reporting, Nick.
All fixed. Should be good on homepage after next caching
(15 minutes or so).

That was quick
Now there are 10 articles and 10 blogs but only 9 tips. Is that because only 9 tips have been written?

There are 10 Tips in All category, 9 in C# and 6 in ASP.NET.
This would mean, we need more tips and tricks posted in each category
Sincerely,
Elina

Maybe because it is an excellent tip?
The same happens occasionally with articles; it suffices to publish an article through the wizard, and then update it before 10 other articles got added or updated. It would be better to only list the most recent addition/update of course.

I only read code that is properly indented, and rendered in a non-proportional font; hint: use PRE tags in forum messages

The messages don't expand in place as in IE. I have to scroll up and down to find the expanded message after every click. Is there a setting that I am missing?

Are you talking about the forums on articles? Or in general because I don't have that in the 'normal' forums but do have it on the article one's.
I think I reported this a couple months ago already.

In the articles, it gets covered up, and I have to scroll. In the 'normal' forums, the expanded message jumps to the center of the screen. Though I don't have to scroll, it is not as convenient as in IE, where the message just expands neatly in place.
I searched 'chrome' and browsed through a few pages of the search results to see if it had been posted, but couldn't find it. Maybe your post got buried deep.

I use FireFox 3.5 and IE 8 and in both cases the messages expand neatly 'in-place'. I have never had to modify any settings for either browser for this.

Yeah same as me then.
Shree wrote: In the 'normal' forums, the expanded message jumps to the center of the screen.
Hmm not exactly the center of the screen here but it does jump, never really payed much attention to it until now . It's been so long since I used IE that I forgot how it reacted there
Shree wrote: Maybe your post got buried deep.
Probably, it was quite a long time ago.

Is the any way to chastise this person [^]for deleting messages in the forums. He has definitely set a pattern of deleting questions that have been answered, irritating to say the least.

Yup I'm aware of that, I was attempting to show that this person has a habit of deleting answered posts. I feel reasonably confident that CP admin can find their way to the profile page . Wheres that sarcasm smiley?

I usually quote the OP's post (the relevant parts anyway) when making a reply, so even if he/she deletes the post, context is retained.

Any answers I've given aren't being listed in the appropriate (or any) place on my profile page - is this still in 'ToDo' or should it be working?
Dave
BTW, in software, hope and pray is not a viable strategy. (Luc Pattyn) Why are you using VB6? Do you hate yourself? (Christian Graus)

Yep still a todo. I've added here as well.

Hi CP,
Found an odd bug: On the CPOL Page
http://www.codeproject.com/info/cpol10.aspx
This Zip File is empty:
http://www.codeproject.com/info/CPOL.zip
(The link to download a copy of the licence: " Download a copy of the CPOL.")
Tested in FF3 and Chrome 4

I've updated the zip. Can you please try again?
