We started that way, but for a long, long time we've been spreading our wings.

Maybe you could hold a contest for both a silverlight and a flash solution - let the guys that use the site do some of the work.
In fact, you could even then put a setting in the user profile where we could select whether we wanted flash, silverlight, or standard html stuff for special site features.

yes, "Tamiflu mint" would be an excellent choice.

That's kinda offwhite, with flecks of green goo, right?

you must have it around already, just spread it out evenly if you can.

your green goo turned out to be rather pinkish, but IMO it will do; however any color closer to white will improve the correlation between color samples in the legend and trace colors in the actual graph.

that background is the best yet.

I only read code that is properly formatted, adding PRE tags is the easiest way to obtain that. [The QA section does it automatically now, I hope we soon get it on regular forums as well]

Why can't you just draw the legend outside of the graph (the image size should be increased in which case). Or, the legend can be a separate, image "outside" (to the right of?) the actual graph, because it is static and isn't going to change at all.

No. Noooooooooooooooooooo!
That is how all this started in the first place.
You won't get a large graph, somewhere out there still is a CP veteran with a 640*480 monitor.
Lets keep things simple, it is fine the way it is; the legend having an offwhiteish background
would be more than adequate to solve whatever small problem is left. There must be more important matters around.

But, if the image doesn't stretch... why some graphics are ok, and some are zoomed out (smaller [i.e. mine])?

As I see it, the reputation graph is 750 * 350 pixels for everybody, with the x-axis going from day of signing up till today, and the y-axis going from 0 to your current total reputation value. Nothing gets zoomed or stretched, it is a simple autoscaling.

At that moment I was seeing some rep. graphs ok, and other (including mine) were half sized. But it now is ok another time.

Thats one way to get rid of stupid questions, I supose!
The page header shows "Msgs 1 to 50 of 285,422 (Total in Forum: 285,422) (Refresh)" but only two messages other than the sticky pair are displayed. Hope you have a backup!

I can see 4. 4 / 285,426 - something's not right.

There is definately something odd going on here: If I open two instances of the c# forum in two tabs as quickly as I can, the members online count differs by 2K, or 11K, or whatever it feels like really! And I can't believe that 10% of us are online at the same time...I mean, then pubs are open somewhere in the world, aren't they?

Just getting the fire extinguisher out, so you'll see some weirdness as things to-and-fro a little.
There is also some cashing caching to contend with. As sessions are brought under control different servers will have different values.
Edit: cashing -> caching. But if anyone wants to send cash my address is...

that sounds right then. Your post didn't have a question mark icon, but it started a thread, so there must have been a question in there...
But then, thread starters in bugs&suggs should be considered a contribution as Organizer, don't you think?

Given that Organisers apparently retag content, I wouldn't think so. I'd think it would be Participant.

I'm not sure what Participant is for, everything we do here is participate one way or another.

I thought you meant that you had voted on my QAQ answer - someone did and I think it was that vote that ( erroneously ) increased my Enquirer rep.
As Pi said, I seem to have got 10 Participant points for the 2 votes on this thread.
And I thought the 20 different possible votes on articles was
