Yep - totally agree. Just a small oversight. It will be reverted.

Seems other styles were changed, such as the color of "Welcome to the Lounge"... was that intentional? I think I liked the green more.

I'm getting a completely wrong layout on the forums (the left forum list is expanded all over the page and the forum itself is underneath it)
Seems to happen only on web15 (but did have it on web22 as well but that seems to be ok now)
[Update] pressing 'post message' just fixed the layout but didn't actully post the message (I think) [\Update]
[Edit]Web18 / web19 seem to be suffering from it as well now [\edit]

Quick Answers has gone Daffy Duck on me.
[BTW I updated to IE8 following a sugestion from "someone",. It's cr_p!]

Ctrl F5? Failing that, screen shot?

Using FireFox:
Ctrl-F5 doesn't fix it. Picture this:
It looks like the tab contents are being displayed to the right of the tabs themselves, and is overlaying the search/drilldown/announcement pane.
I'm seeing this is in "My Posts" by the way...
This is not happening in IE8

Hi, I am not sure if this is an issue or if already known but...
in the Quick Answers, I have posted an answer and afterwards realize the OP had already solved it (added new answer instead of editing question). So I want to delete my answer, but... no "delete" link there.
I can see the deletes for the other posts, but not in my own.
My answer has no posterior answers and/or votes yet.
This[^] is the Question, and here[^] is a capture of what I see.
EDIT: Forgot to say: Win XP, SP2, ie7 (don't know if that helps)
Regards.

There is one more rule [^] that says if the post has a non-minor edit then you cannot delete it. For e.g. for this[^] post I can see delete link but for this one[^] I don't see it.

True, but I didn't think it was affecting to own messages (the edition was mine too) as well :S

HimanshuJoshi is right. There is a non-minor edit to your answer. See the Quick Answers FAQ[^]
But you know what, I think we should revisit whether this rule is appropriate. I see many cases - such as this - where it isn't. I'll talk it over with the team.
I've deleted your answer BTW.

Thanks
IMO it is not a bad idea, but in the case where you own all message and edits... would not be bad to be able to delete.
Regards.

Exactly.
The original intent was to prevent members from deleting good content. I figured that if there's a non-minor edit than it may be content worth keeping around. Turns out that that's not the case. And even if you don't own all the edits. Anyway we do have the voting rule in place. If a post has a score of 3 or higher it can't be deleted. That should suffice.
|
|
|
|
|
FYI, I still (last time I checked) seems to be that even minor edits will prevent the answer from being deleted.
|
|
|
|

Yep sorry, I wasn't clear that these are things we are considering. But as of early this morning the non-minor edit rule is gone.

When replying to a message at the bottom of this question, "Do not interpret HTML tags (good for code snippets)" was checked (I noticed and unchecked it before posting). This is strange because I never ever check that. Also, the question itself seems to be suffering from its HTML tags having been HTML encoded, so maybe the same thing happened to the original question poster.

Try viewing my reputation graph in IE8. It looks messed up (really small and ugly). I checked a few other profiles, which are looking normal in the same browser. Let me know if you can't reproduce it and I'll email a screen-shot.

I had the same problem earlier.
Chris suggested using Ctrl + F5 but that did not work (for me). After a few days the graph became fine automatically.
I belive this is an issue with IE8 - the cache is not getting cleared completely.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the cache. I tried clearing out the entire cache, I tried viewing the same thing in "In Private" mode, etc.,
It's ugly, as long as the browser is IE8.

I may have found something.
Try Internet Options -> Reset. I believe that is what had fixed things for me earlier.
