When I created my first tip/trick, I didn't see a way to upload an image. Are we just accepting that tips/tricks are supposed to be small/textual and shouldn't have images? If not, I'd like to suggest that you add support for images in tips/tricks. Perhaps they could be hosted elsewhere, but it would be nice to upload them right from the TT.

I second that.
One of the major problems with MSDN documentation is the lack of images; how can one properly explain WinForm Controls without any graphics?

0) The tab that displays my user ID (recently changed from displaying "My Member") looks like it spans two tabs. Silver lining - at least both of those tabs are the same color.
1) I don't think there enough indications of my true status here on CodeProject - one of respect, awe and admiration, along with a healthy dollop of fear and dread. I'm sure you guys can come up with something appropriate, so I won't bother you with further suggestions regarding any kind of visual imagery you might select.

I was thinking something along the lines of a "You must be over 18 to enter" sign outside your profile, but figured that would just make people look. I then thought about just a general warning, but again, no one reads these things. I then thought we could simply change our tagline to "Without John Simmons, all is lost" but it was too wordy.
I'm stumped.

When I look at this member profile, it says "Articles / Tech Blogs" and there is no "0" to the right of it like there is to the right of the other items on that page.

This isn't the first time I have this: typing away on the "Reply to Message" page (with FF3.0), I hit some unfortunate key combination (don't know which, pretty sure there is a CTRL involved) and all the sudden my page no longer holds a text edit box, all I see is:
1. a row of widgets (bold, italic, ..., link)
2. the words "Text, Signature, Options" at the left
3. the smileys immediately next to them
4. my signature edit box and the 4 checkboxes to the right of that (2, 3 and 4 have same height)
5. the "Post Message", "Preview" and "Cancel" buttons as usual
Is there a way to get my edit box back (including its content)?
some other magic key combination perhaps?

Google Chrome allows you to resize most textboxes. Perhaps you could use that as a temporary workaround until the CP staff gets this fixed.

I have the page still open in one of my FF tabs. I don't see how Chrome would be able to get at the text.
Are you saying my best gamble is to hit "Post Message" anyway and publish an unfinished message? (that would throw away the edit page in my FF tab)

Hmmm, didn't know you were trying to save the text you are currently typing in the textbox. Try this...
Click into the textbox for the subject line. Press tab so focus is set to the main textbox. CTRL+A (select all) then CTRL+C (copy). Paste that into Notepad then close your window and make a new reply (paste in the text that is in Notepad).

Great suggestion. I didn't think of that. Unfortunately it does not work. Tabbing away from the subject box seems to activate the entire page: a CTRL/A selects everything I can see, CTRL/C and CTRL/V to Notepad yields all text but the piece I'm after.

Problem "solved" in two ways:
1.
with some FireFox/FireBug magic, based on luck more than proficiency, I was able to inspect the current HTML (did not show the message edit box!), but also the "DOM", and that was happily showing what I entered.
2.
hitting the "Post Message" button resulted in a funny error page stating two problems:
- you must supply some content
- there were problems with your new message
however, dismissing that page returned the original message edit page, with everything visible and present!
So the acute problem is gone. I still hope to learn which key combination resulted in this phenomenon, and then, how to disable it!

I think that's a control device implemented by CodeProject. It seems your posts are routinely too long, so it's trying to send you subtle messages to keep the noise to a dull roar.

0) A circular scatter chart that would post a dot for each user at a distant point along a radian line indicating their distance between 0 and the highest current reputation value. The first user plotted would be at radian 0, the next at radian 1, etc. Finally, your own position in the chart would be indicated by a single thin black line that goes all the way around the chart.
1) A pie chart that shows the percentage of users in a certain reputation range, such as 0-25,000, 25000-50,000, etc.
