I'm trying [not very hard] to learn Arabic, so if I see something I don't recognise I put it through Google.
Translating the Persian in this message

to English is hilarious BTW, I thought for a moment I'd strayed into quite a different type of website...Cpianism: I have a negative number in my Rep so please fix it.
Chris Maunder: That isn't a bug.

Hello,
For each article, codeproject maintains a history of the previous versions ("Revision") and anybody can have a look at the previous article versions. However, it seems that there's no way to download the source code of the previous versions (a "Page not found" error is shown).
|
|
|
|

Download versioning is something we'll have to add. Do you have a link to a specific article that is showing a problem? cheers,

Yes, somebody wanted to download an earlier version of my charting control[^] but I was not able to get it from the revision list.

I only read code that is properly formatted, adding PRE tags is the easiest way to obtain that. [The QA section does it automatically now, I hope we soon get it on regular forums as well]

I saw this bug posted a while back. Guess it still hasn't been fixed.

really? I missed it then, and I never saw this happen before today.
I bet Chris will blame Google somehow...

They're the evil empire donchaknow? At least they are, according to Steve Jobs, so it must be true because people worship every noxious fume out of his botty coughs, as though they smell of roses."WPF has many lovers. Which browser?
That's an odd one and I'm fairly sure it has nothing to do with the Google analytics code that the error is pointing to. It's script, not XML.
My only guess is that we have a script being loaded in the wrong order, or script being called that relies on a different script that hasn't had a chance to be loaded. Possibly a latency issue with Google itself, but highly doubtful.
Hmmm.cheers,

FF 3.0.17
I had Google itself being slow at times today, that was new too.
I'm not in China.

Chris,
we've had a couple of occasional problems lately (XML _gat, message+sig merging, smiley not working), would one of your servers have a fever?

At the bottom of each page, under the bottom banner, you'll see (just under Last Updated) the name of the current server (eg I'm on Web17). If you see a pattern let me know.
I've had it reported a couple of times - one by someone who had it a few times then never again, and one by a guy who consistently gets it.
I've never seen it so it's a little hard to debug.
If you do see it again then another thing you could do is do a 'View Source', save it to a file and send it to me.cheers,

Chris,
I tend to look at it and report it when I can.
However the XML _tag bug leads to an error page without server IIRC; the message+sig merging isn't mine (aspdotnetdev is getting those), and the smiley problem is his too (happened to me only once).

Ha! The signature/message combining bug, right in the Site Bugs forum... how convenient!
And maybe the guy just had a bad experience with that software/company.
