When I write an article, I sometime think that it is final. My code is perfect and I won't change a line.
However quite often in the discussion at the bottom someone suggest something and unfortunately he's or she's right.
Would it be possible for an article to go back to Editing mode even after it is been edited by an editor.
The articles are stored forever and it is a shame they can't be fixed when something is wrong in them.
Allowing us to make minor amendments would improve the overall quality of the articles wouldn't it?

It's not just that people are shy; the article submission process is not as transparent as it could be:- There are two ways to submit an article: via email to submit@codeproject.com or via the Article Submission Wizard (ASW).
- Articles submitted via the ASW can be in one of two states: edited or not-yet-edited.
- Depending on which state the article is in, there are two ways to modify an article: via the Modify button or via email.
- On top of this, an article might be subject to a preliminary approval process, which is itself a source of surprise and unexpected annoyance for some authors.
So I don't think it's any wonder that some authors have trouble understanding and coping with the submission process, and anything that can be done to empower them would be very good. After all, this site has made its reputation largely because of quality articles.

This is excellent!
There is only one other thing that keeps coming up, regarding requirement for source code. Sometimes an author has a good article, which requires use of a non-free third-party library or app. For example, articles on WPF might require Expression Blend, or an article on database might require SQL Server. Usually, this passes without comment, because the site is Microsoft-centric.
But what if an article requires the XYZ Widget SDK, which is shareware. Very frequently, such articles are low-voted, because people assume 1) the author works for the shareware vendor; or 2) it is against site policy, because of the requirement for source code.
I believe there should be consistency for all articles. An article shouldn't be judged on whether the non-free parts came from Microsoft or Bozosoft. Please include a statement to this effect in the submission verbiage.

Clicking on the "Bookmark" link which is located in the
upper section of an article view does not add the
Article to "my Bookmarks" and the link does not change to
"article Bookmarked" as before.
Placing the mouse pointer over the "Bookmark" link the explorer
statusbar showes the following:
http://www.codeproject.com/script/Bookmarks/Add.aspx?obid=5577&obtid=2&action=AddBookmark
Today I noticed that the "Watch" function does not work either.
Since I'm using the Bookmark feature quite frequently I would really
appreciate if I could get this function back.

I dont know a couple of weeks ago it started not to work any more.
Is there maximum number of articles one can bookmark?
I tried it allready on different computers but that does not matter.
I also tried to right click the link and opened it in a new
window but nothing helped

In recent days the CodeProject pages have been getting hung up by referencing something at api.microsofttranslate.com and I end up having to kill my FireFox session. This must be something new as I have been a long time user for CodeProject.com and have not experienced this issue before. Is there something I need to setup or change on my end?

Do you mean microsofttranslator.com? microsofttranslate.com looks to be one of those sites whose domain got squatted and is now a "search" website..

Other's have reported similar problems with pages. I'll remove the translator and see if that helps.

Is there any new information on this quirk? I'm having the same issue and thought maybe it was my anti-virus software but it seems to be that api.microsofttranslator.com page. Weird stuff . . .

Can you please try visiting an article and replacing the "www.codeproject.com" with "beta.codeproject.com"?

I added api.microsofttranslator.com to my Ad-blocker Plus filters and now everything loads fine.
This may help.

Excuse me, but I have to ask. In which misbegotten dimension of space and time, traversed only by the lost souls of Cthulu, never to speak the name of VB or C++, does this question have anything at all to do with this forum? I tried to get my pwd using remember form. After a long set of invalid inputs(be sure they was valid, but capcha think it's not  ), and not working ability to listen the code I got my pwd from e-mail history 
But it's seems to be a serious bug.
