Wouldn't it be nice if the menu was a bit more... modern. I have a javascript menu I've been using on my own website that is animated, and supports transparency and sub-items. It also appears to work on all the browsers I can test from my own machine. It's yours if you want it.

Personally I can't stand animated menus like that.
Our menu is completely javascript free, so the animation isn't something we can add until CSS3 is widely supported. I can decrease the opacity, I guess...
If you want it more modern then the font, colour and whitespace are what need attention.

The author of the tip/trick shouldn't be allowed to post an alternative to his own tip/trick.
I had done that, and the tip/trick showed up twice in my list - and I got 10 rep points. To fix it, I copy/pasted the text from the alternate into the original tip, and deleted the alternate.
An author can exploit this "feature" by adding many alternates in a bid to gain false reputation points.

Will add to the bug list
An author can add false alternatives to *any* tip and trick so barring an author from, say, adding an alternative won't help. In fact, as an author grows and learns it's perfectly valid for an author to be able to provide, along with others, alternative recipes.

I was reading Luc's nice summary of how to use the PRE tag (http://www.codeproject.com/Tips/42071/Use-PRE-tags.aspx[^]) when I noticed his comment about using linecount='on' in PRE tag. This is the first I knew of this (thanks, Luc!) and I thought this could be very useful. Unfortunately the example on that page that uses linecount='on' doesn't work, and I was wondering if this is a bug, or has this feature been disabled?

Overall looks nice.
I especially like the code-browse tab. Is there a way to not copy the line numbers when you do a select + Ctrl-C?

Looks like updates to Q&A have few glitches!
1. Whenever i try to post answer, (or update question), it pops up 'navigating' away message as if i wrote something(edited) and trying to cancel/navigate away.
2. Question/Answers no more shows preview before posting it
3. Answers are now AJAX post (Answer option is now on the same page where question is). Once posted the UI doesnt look neat. The answer rectanlge is somewhat small and looks like contracted.
Overall, posting an answer was not smooth and experience not so good!

0) On a wide monitor, the article has a lot of white space. The edges need a border because the white background tends to bleed into the pay yellow/orange.
1) The panel that shows the filenames isn't wide enough for really long file names.
2) I still think the author bio and forum should go in their own tabs.

For Issue-0, choose Fluid Layout (from the top right). The default is fixed width centered on the screen which is not great on wide monitors.

1 - The bigger we make it, the less room there is for viewing actual code. It's a compromise
2 - I think the forum should be directly under the articles so new members immediately see the discussions. The Author bio's will eventually get a new home.
