We willm but we need to build an infrastructure that can handle the load. This has been something I've personally wanted to have since we started, but other things kept getting in the way. However, I just moved this project into the short term goals so I'm hoping soon.

Are you planning on adding a separate button, or will you just send email to everyone who has bookmarked an article?
I think it would be ok to consider bookmarking == subscribe.
|
|
|
|
|
I agree - at least for bookmarks existing at the moment when the feature becomes operational.
If there are seperate subscrbe / unsubscribe, bookmark / kill bookmark functions, then the two lists can diverge from then on.
Hope that was clear. I 99% agree with you!
Iain.
I am one of "those foreigners coming over here and stealing our jobs". Yay me!

We'll bring back the "Watch" button.

And maybe a "Watch All Bookmarked" button?

The search function doesn't work at all.
Can't really sum up what goes wrong since no matter what I try I never get any results.

What keywords. location or filter tags (or combo) are you using?
There is another issue in that many jobs posted are in the US, and the job posters have chosen to limit the countries the jobs are listed in to North America only.

What about the scenario we reported earlier?
|
|
|
|
|
Well tested with keyword : .NET and with empty
Locations I tested: New york / colorado (because I was sure there was one there) / brugges / brussels / gent / antwerp / belgium
All gave me no jobs
The .NET / colorado should have given me at least one I think

Who's Job? I didn't know anyone of that name had a section.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there any chance the selection of article layout being persisted?
I prefer the fluid layout, and it's a little distracting to reselect it each time I start a new instance of IE7 (I know, I know: the IT gestapo dictates IE7).
Software Zen: delete this;

It *should* be being persisted.
I'm just going through bug priorities this morning (uh-oh. Lunchtime already!) and I'll throw this on at the top since it'll be a quicky.

Have a look at this post[^]. The text under the post says 1.00/5 (3 votes), shouldn't the subject line be grey?
Cheers

I think the grey subject line was removed from the technical forums for a first reply (answer) in a attempt to battle the one-voters.

I type a line normally.
I hit return twice.
And a gap appears.
I type a line in BOLD
And hit return twice
Do you see, eh? eh?
Not recognizing the return after a bold statement.
(That is a statement in BOLD rather than just an outrageous claim).

Known and annoying bug, reported many times already, still not fixed.
Any HTML tag ending a line better be followed by a space.

Ok, didn't realise it was a known bug.

Ah, right, I see. Well, I have the prize sitting at home; sent to me by accident. If you send me $500 to cover the postage I'll send it on immediately.

Considering the fact that the CP team is probably just waking up right now you'll have to wait a bit longer for a answer but I'm sure Chris will reply somewhere in the next couple hours. (and just in case you didn't see it, digital man was trying to be funny)

Hi Pranay,
I have backups of some of the prize notifications you were sent and will forward them to you. For anything else I will ping the prize provider and get it sorted.
Please let me know if you received my initial e-mail OK.
Thanks,

Hi Admins,
What happened with CodeProject today? I am getting the following error:
Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.. Ticket: 2454869. Server: Web23
It is happening in almost all the pages. Sometimes it comes up and sometime not. I tried for a long time and finally I came to this page.
