Already on the suggestions list, though not sure when we'll get to it. But yes - a good idea.

So it was getting slow as reported in my earlier post.
Well i just got a 'No messages found, try changing your date filter' response. None of my settings have changed, Date filter 3 months, noise level medium etc.
strange.

I got the same problem, but changing the date filter to 'All', seems to fix it.
It's time for a new signature.
|
|
|
|
|
it came back moments later, with no settings change.
Maybe one of the hamsters nipped to the loo.

We're having some SQL load issues. It could be related to the hardware issues from last week. I'm been digging in all week looking for ways around it.

For posts like that (not offensive, but in the wrong forum), I usually just click "Vote to Remove Message". That usually takes care of it without bothering the powers that be with our petty mortal coil.

Fair 'nuff. I'd replied anyway to point OP in the right direction.

Any chance one of the wiser hamsters could eliminate the deleted entry?

Hi DD, I think it's acting as designed; if you have the powers to delete an answer, you will continue to see it, be it marked with "status: deleted". Less powerful people will see the status, not the content.

Ah, that makes sense! Thanks.

I also added an answer last night and at the time I could see it. Went back there this morning after reading this thread and zero answers were visible out of 5 indicated.
I Ctl-F5'd. Nada! I Ctl-F5'd again. Zip! Once more for luck. Zilch!
So that I could confirm this here, I hit the Permalink widget. Et Viola! they all showed up.
Daft ain't it?
[Edit]
Just went there again. Same as above no answers <permalink> answers?
Deffo something strange going on there.

When that happens take a look at the very bottom of the page to see which server you are on. I'm guessing you're hitting different servers, and one of them failed to load all the answers, then cached the partial info.

I only tested on this[^] from DD's original post. Going there this time to get the link it was web22 and after hitting permalink still web22 with this[^] address.

Just noticed that one of the CP member reported that he found Trojan in one of the attachments.
He posted[^] the same in Q&A forum.
After reading the post, I have not opened it (doubt if anyone would try).
Though, I am sure, CP would want to have a look at it.
