I think 99% of CP Members echo that thought John!

Then I should have a lot more 5 votes on this response.

But, just to be sure, I think we should send out a message to all users asking their opinion.

No, the hamsters get too exhausted to implement such a feature. Imagine delivering one message to millions of users individually.
(however it _is_ a valid question and doesn't deserve to be down-voted)

Not my wife - she rotates the map until the road we are on is pointing the right direction. Or (more usually) some road we might be on one day is pointing in the right direction.
When I handed her my GPS, she tried rotating that and got confused when she realised it had rotated itself as well...

When I try to specify the lang attribute as "xml", the pre block is cut off at a seemingly arbitrary point, and the editor adds /xml> to the end of the message text. If I take the lang="xml" out (and delete the errant /xml> ), everything is fine.

Truly odd.
I'll take a look at it.
I may even, if you're lucky, actually try and fix it.

But only after higher priority bugs, right?

They aren't bugs - they are "features"
He will document them to prove it!

That was an issue with not correctly HTML encoding text, causing the parser to incorrectly interpret the < as a tag. I have this one documented in the bug report.
