Nevermind, I see the new title now. Probably just a cache issue (e.g., maybe there's a periodic job that checks Lounge posts then updates the homepage).

IMO probably everything on the home page is delayed; I know from experience posting/updating an article takes over 10 minutes to make it show on the home page.

That's only because we all have a good chuckle at the article before it gets officially posted.

So it isn't a nipplegate countermeasure after all?

No - those ones are sent directly to my inbox.

They probably do full table scans and are actually running at 100% processor usage doing all these homepage updates.

Using Chrome any edits to a quick answer comment are not applied when clicking the OK button. I tried this with Chrome and the same comment with IE9. Only the latter worked as expected.

I've notice several times when using Chrome and posting links that although it forms the anchor tag, with clickey, both hrefs are missing a few of the last characters form the URL.

Still? We licked that one last week.

There's your problem. Code doesn't like to be licked. Try buying it dinner first.

That's so wrong.
Have you done a Ctrl+F5? I have a feeling it could be an old cached version of the script. I've tested this end and it's working fine for me, but I did have to update the script a week or so ago.

THIS[^]
I surfed this article It's just Published recently.
At a bottom of the discussion thread I found some what to be illogical, That The article is voted by several persons to which author have replied, But I suspect on which post Author haven't replied, That all the users have joined CP since last months.
And I bet this all are account created by Author, That's why he didn't take care to reply all of these.
This may be fine but I am just posting 'cause I found this suspecting.

Good catch. I back your theory here. It certainly looks like those initial 5s were from puppet accounts the author or a friend created. It's an abuse of the voting system in my opinion.

I don't think, this is an valid point for any suspection. There are many articles in Codeproject, where You will find author never replied to any of the discussion in his article, or They only replied to the asked question not in "My Vote 5" or "Good work" kind of post.
Hiren Solanki wrote: And I bet this all are account created by Author, That's why he didn't take care to reply all of these.
If Author can create and vote from different account then why he can't reply from his own account to those message ?
May be he is busy with his article update or he will do it tomorrow And, Direct Comment from Voting option does not send any mail to author so, he may not noticed that.
I am not sure about the how article voting happend for that article, but based on your suspection causes I am totally disagree. Hope CP Admin can check it up what is there an backend
Thanks

I said He can but didn't take care at all. Why he gave reply only accounts which are not created since last month.
It's just his way to boost and attract people to vote.
If you'll look closely you will find that.

Though the article is now deleted. I would like to say for one more evidence.
The article was published and within 20 mins he got 8-10 5'vs with the account created since last month, That's one more illogical thing.

I am not sure why this article has been deleted. Or it has deleted by Author or Admin.

I never monitor any article votes with this much of depth ! . Article content was good and he made some improvement as well based on the feedback, what I can see.

I think that a bigger issue is how it got approved. The comment at the bottom (response to 1 vote) says
Bro, When I was composing at that time unfortunately hit submit button. That why other explanation not shown. Now all right.
which means the thing was approved while still incomplete.

Agree, I had a same problem with my recent article and Why It don't get approved for the same reason.
BTW why article is deleted now ? Is there the same reason I stated or anything else. ?

Which one? I don't recall seeing one from you in the moderation list.
Can't see them once deleted, only site admins have the god-like powers required for that

I bet It has been deleted 'cause of the same reason I stated.

That article is deleted. But that's not relevant for my reply.
I have given it as a bug to CP: The author of article does not get the notification for comments/replies-to-comments after few months of publication of said article.
Look at good articles, the author does not reply (since he/she isn't aware!) for the comments made after months of article release.

That is because of his deed.

I know you have opened a separate thread for that ,I am feeling quite similar to you 'cause I didn't get last 2 response to my article by mail. That I needed to find out manually.

Yes. I used to reply to all the readers once I get an email notification for any of the post. But for New vote comment it's not working. So, it's got delayed for resonse as well. And If it's an old article you never can track unless you open that article.
BTW : The BUG is in the TODO list. CP Team is working on that.
