thank's. By making my old article unfinished, I can link the file from my new tips n trick article. Maybe the problem is i can't make it unfinished by myself. So I leave it that way
No one can prevent me to learn something

I thought we were supposed to get points for reporting stuff. I reported two articles and didn't see any points awarded as a result. The articles are here:

I spotted the star, all is well, I get to bookmarks, but why is there a little padlock with yellow triangle beside My Settings?
Does it mean I am Clamped?

It means they are secured. It's the quick and easy way to see what's secured for you in the site - in just the same way you see the padlock in an HTTPS page.

It means you lost on the boss level and now have to go through the locked Fortress Of Doom.
Sometimes it's used as a link to your settings via a secure connection.

"My settings" used to always use https, now it is optional. Isn't that a step backward? People tend to forget about security.
If there is a good reason to allow unsecure access, maybe it should be the exceptional case, i.e. somewhat hidden, rather than the other way around.

Security is not a dirty word.
Crevice is a dirty word.

Speed is the reason. Accessing your settings via SSL is slow.

I had no idea the lock image was actually a different URL. I thought it just indicated that the "My Settings" link was secure. Perhaps that could use some redesign. For example, make "My Settings" use HTTPS and use an image of an open lock or something for HTTP. That way, users are defaulted to the more secure version. Though, that then presents with the problem of the user clicking the lock thinking it's the same link as "My Settings" and getting to the non-secure page. Maybe this image should be removed completely. Who accesses their settings enough for the speed issue to be a problem for them?

My thoughts exactly. Security over speed. Settings better not be viewable/editable over an insecure connection. We don't need SPAM or identity theft after using a hotspot.

It shows my old e-mail address. I can't find a way to edit this to my new e-mail address. My new e-mail address is showing just fine in my Settings page.
Thanks.

This is not a bug and I was kindly shown the error of my ways.

At the top of the contact section, you will see an 'Edit This Address' checkbox, click this and it will then allow you to edit the greyed out fields, of which one is the email address.

All I can say is that email is an unreliable medium of exchange. Despite our best efforts and the changes we've made to improve email delivery and sneak past overzealous spam filters with nothing better to do than justify their own existence by blocking our emails and letting through news on biomedical advances, there will still be occasional emails missing, sent to junk boxes, dropped through outages somewhere between here and you or purloined by nefarious network admins thinking there may be birthday cards and money inside those emails.

In profile page we have option to view Q&A Questions & Q&A Answers. But Is there any option for Forum Questions & Forum Answers. For example take our Big Enquirers David Crow[^] & Carlo[^], now how to view their questions?
BTW I found 2 links in MyCodeProject[^] page.
Questions I've posted
Unanswered Questions[^]
Answered Questions[^]
(Both links will show you David's questions)
Surely this option will save duplication questions. Actually before asking a question I'm using CP search & other members Q/A questions & Answers(Based on his profile[I mean category like C# or VB or something]) like you can view mostly C++ questions in both David & Carlo's pages.
BTW I think you are working on this too(Because you have changed the caption Question & Answers into Q&A Questions & Q&A Answers in profile page recently).

On Quick Question & Answers, when looking at any older revisions. the action bar () is wrapped to the next line. can we move it to the row below/above ? there are lot of space as we are not showing the answers there.
Example.
Final Question, which looks fine.[^]
Revesion of the Actual Question[^], please see the FAQ button/link.
it looks fine in IE 9 (if full screen, otherwise same), but wrapped/overlapped to the next line in Firefox 4 (even in full screen - 24").
It's not a big deal, but cant help my OCD.

Just a release candidate, at the moment.
IIRC Maunder's policy is not to try chasing pre-release browsers; at the moment I suspect he's busy stomping on IE9 issues.

Yea, I saw that on their site. But I would like to try it. I have downloaded it and will install tomorrow. Just need to confirm if I can run current FF version and this one side by side. If not, I will install it on one of my home PC.

We will soon get to see "Why MS sucks again today" posts!

Maybe. Assuming it even partially lives up to the hype most of the changes will probably be stuff like this:
Old
if (browser.name == IE)
{
DoIeHack();
}
else
{
FollowStandards()
}
New:
if ((browser.name == IE) && (browser.Version <= 8))
{
DoIeHack();
}
else
{
FollowStandards()
}

2x12=24

Pretty much, except the comments would be more expressive and unsuitable for a forum such as this.
