This is on my TODO but I'm not sure of how the UI would look. A survey sitting inside a message? What about alternate answers?
My biggest hurdle currently is architecting the code so that our separate forum and survey systems can work together without being tied by a dependency.

Yeah, I didn't think about the details too much yet. Maybe just have a dedicated survey forum, each OP is simply the survey, within that message it can be voted on and responded to like the weekly surveys (including alt answers), but browsed more like a forum (though browsing would only show original thread/topic).
Glad to hear it's on the todo list though!

In relation to this post this morning; here[^]
I deleted a number of those offending answers. I was in my rep history later on and there is no record of that event.
Now, if you down vote an item, it at least records this and marks 0 points, If I report it, i get 1 point, but the offending item stays visible until someone with appropriate rights does something.
Surely either, those with high enough priviliges should get at least 1 point under organiser for deleting, OR if you use the report function the item should disappear until the authorties check it and remove permanently or say its okay and release back into the public domain.
Cheers,

There are some things we decided would accrue points. Deleting an item is done by one person in one action and should be a last resort type of thing. What we'd much prefer is if items are reported using the reporting flag. This mitigates the risk of a single, inexperienced member accidentally deleting something important while providing the benefit of allowing 4 other members the joy of getting points by dobbing on someone else.
For extreme situations like the one you attended to, we thank you for your kind, selfless donation of that well placed delete.
cheers,

Hey guys!
First, I want to thank you for the way this website is maintained, keep up the good work!
I just want to suggest, that adding images to a tip or trick may help to make the tip or trick more readable or understandable. Maybe it's usefull to add such a feature and for example limit the amount of images to three or so?
Thanks!
