I was in the Lounge and entered a search into the search box that is on the same level as the "FAQ". That worked fine, I got a results page, at the top of which was a search box. There were too many results, so I decided to refine my search by typing in a new search phrase and pressing ENTER. However, I still got a bunch of search results. Refusing to believe that there were that many messages with ("From Paris With Love" Travolta) in them, I investigated. Seems pressing ENTER while the focus was in the lower search textbox caused a search to be performed using the text from the upper search box (the one that is always at the top right of the page on the same level as "The Lounge").

IMO there should be only one search tool on each and every web page, so the forums should have one taken away, and the search page itself should have a header without a search box.

The search box for the forum provides a search for that forum be default. It's there mainly to help article authors have a quick method to allow them to search through comments on their articles. It's in the forum so as to be close to where the author will need it.
We could have removed it from other forums but our feeling is that since the search is part of the forum it's very obvious that you're searching the forum not the site. The search box at the top is always, everywhere, for searching the site.
The search page has no searchbox in the header.

I clicked on it to add pre tags to this[^] question. It opens blank editor rather than it coming up with OP's question. It's FF4 BTW.

Which browser?
I just edited it myself and it was all good.
One point: I recently upgraded the site, including the main database, so there could have been some slowness and maybe timeouts while it worked to attain cruising altitude.

I try again in few minutes to see if it works fine now. Will keep you posted.

Nope. Still can't see anything in both FF4 and IE8. I don't recall doing any updates or installing something new recently which may interfere.

It loads nothing to for me too in IE7.

So, looks like something's broken. IE7 and IE8.

The same for me with both Chrome and IE8

Hi Nish,
Chrome opens it nicely but IE8 shows only the subject and the tag. The body text is copletely missing.

Yeah, seems Chris's latest changes broke something for IE.

It looks like it's all questions for me (Chrome 10).
"Improve Question" gives a blank form, the cancel button doesn't work, and it looks like the question is not locked for editing either.
I like the new layout, but I'd prefer to see the question I am editing!
Real men don't use instructions. They are only the manufacturers opinion on how to put the thing together.

You missed, "update question" button is also missing. (Actually a tiny green thing is visible which looks like it is but...)

I noticed it, but I figured that was the least of any problems - the last thing I wanted to do was see if the "save this and let's move on" button worked!

Readers Choice Awards link in post at top of lounge page goes to a page that says the survey has expired, which does not seem likely...
