My opinion, that would be a little harsh.
He looks like discovering soemthing about FTP and now posting it to threads all over related to it. We have advised him to post it as a Tip/Trick which would help others in future.
Surely, if he continue to do the stuff then someone powerful needs to talk to him.

Is there any facility to receive email whenever new question posted on forum ?
|
|
|
|
|
The forum header emboldens.
There could be issues if 7.5 million users were to be emailed every time there was a new question.

Agreed , But from our end we can give user to select category of question . Its simillar to tag selected while posting the question . right ?

If your intent is to know when a new question is posted, it would be almost all the time 24/7. Just login when you are free/want to and go through the questions. You will hardly find that there is no new question. If you have some other reason/purpose for the request, please do share.

My concern is , I can not seats in front of comp to see the codeproject forum . but I am happy to answer a question posted by members.
Below is my plan :
I would register one new email account on yahoo
Link it with forum to receive question mail
Configure the same email in my mobile
If any question is there whose I can solve then I login to foum and post my reply.
I will share this idea with other team member also . To grow up CP team and its availability.

So you mean, every time a question is posted you will come online and reply?
Any given time, when you are free, you login and reply a bunch of questions. I am just trying to tell you that, whenever you come online during the day, you will always find lots of questions by the members that is new to you and needs an answer. Try out and you will find it fine.
Lastly, there are RSS feeds for various things. Do check them out in order to follow certain specific one.

Good idea but only if you have, say, 10 questions a day. If I get 1000 emails a day from CP, I will be frustrated as hell.
Have you ever considered the number of questions asked at CP in a day? If you respond saying tags can be used as filter, how many people use appropriate tags?

It would be usefully to extend the stats chart with the download counter.
The count axis could be placed on the right side.

Couple of gripes...
I use the Galaxy Tab to view the site and it is ok, all is readable etc.
However, there is no option to vote.
Bug/Feature?
Secondly, if I click on the 'Full Site' option, it reloads the current page in the full version, (incidentally, this includes the Voting option), but as soon as I navigate to another page, it reverts to the mobile version.
Bug/Feature?
First one is an inconvenience, but the second is an annoying and hateful thing.
I was casting a baleful, basiliscan eye over it and tutted quite loudly!

Cool that you now get points for people downloading your code. And that the texts are fixed. But It would be really neat if you could see which article people downloaded code. So my suggestion is that is is written in the Item text.
In the sample above, for the forum it's written "Forum message" And then the subject of the forum post. I would suggest something like this:
27 Apr 2011 6:26 PM Source code or demo file downloaded Author Object Associated File: The Title of my fabulous article 5
27 Apr 2011 3:31 PM Post a General Forum Message Debator Forum Message Re: Be a hollywood-type hacker! 1

I recently noticed that my friend's mother, who gets email newsletters from her church group, would open these newsletters in her browser, which allowed her to zoom the text size (since her vision is not too good). She could do this because at the very top of the newsletter, there would be a small message "Trouble viewing? Read this issue at somesite.com.", which was a clickable link, that took her directly to the newsletter web page.
This seems to me like an excellent feature to add to all the CodeProject newsletters.

It's already there. There's a "View Online" link at the top of the newsletter.
