Currently, when a message is moved, the link to the message will always send you to the correct forum, so if you have the original link (or email notification) you'll find it again. However, if browsing, you won't, so a placeholder may be of value there. However, if someone's posting programming questions, or soapbox material in the lounge, do we really want traces left over?

There was a period when we had a bug in our system that would, under high load scenarios, sometimes allow duplicate names to be used. This has since been fixed.

I already deleted the question, but we need this guy deleted immediately.

Agreed. He dumped answers on another question as well. I have deleted those, but the hamster's can check it out and proceed accordingly.
He has also posted a bunch of messages in the forums that are the same. I have voted to remove on all of those as well.

He[^] is posting irritating messages[^] everywhere. Why didn't he post any messages in JSOP's recent articles? afraid of his gun?

Not troll. Spammer. Time for the spammer hammer. On a positive note - take a look at the classification for the number of messages he's posted[^].

Yep, you right. The advertisement URL is broken

I think he is a Spammer rather than a Troll; he's just trying to get some free advertising for his own articles.

Yeah, his ad URL is broken in half of his messages.

I just replied to a post from the lounge, and repeatedly got "You do not have permission to perform this action".
What it was trying to tell me was "This thread has been moved to the Soapbox while you were typing your reply"

How to Insert images in Tips/Tricks? I tried that in my Tip/Trick[^] but I couldn't . For my new Tips/Tricks(More than couple) I need to insert images so please tell me how to do that.
I tried following ways but all failed
<img src="http://s.codeproject.com/App_Themes/Std/Img/logo225x90.gif" />
<img src="http://s.codeproject.com/App_Themes/Std/Img/logo225x90.gif" />

<img src="http://s.codeproject.com/App_Themes/Std/Img/logo225x90.gif" ></img>
I'm jealous of Alex[^], look at his all Tips/Tricks. Most are with nice images. Example HTML5 YouTube player shows Top100 statistics[^](He should have taken a snap from that video after couple of secs & inserted that in that Tip/Trick )

The In-Progress icon is missing from the Flags list at the bottom of this forum.
|
|
|
|
|
On the first page of Site Bugs / Suggestions, also all the other flag-icons, like Fixed, Rejected... don't show up at the bottom. When I go to the second page, there they are, back to first page, not there any more.
