It doesn't matter who deleted the question. Having looked at your history, I can see that you have posted the same question already. It looks as though whoever deleted it, removed it so that there wasn't a duplicate question which is against the rules of the site.

Both are different questions

I see two options here:
1. Repost the question, and add a note stating it is not related to the other question
or
2. Add this to the other question.

A few points.
I didn't delete this question, I only suggested why it might have been deleted.
The last time you asked for me to undelete your question, I pointed out to you several times that I couldn't.
Please, take the time to read the responses you have been given so that I don't have to repeat this - again.

I've undeleted it

The Daily Insider has a nice format for looking at the articles in the news. I was wondering if you might consider having a link under Features to look at the newest daily insider online. Once I get the insider in my email it clearly has a view online link anyway, so why not make that available as a link in the navbar under Features? I know that I can view the same articles in the News link, but as I said the format is not so nice as the Daily Insider.

I just noticed that, under Comments and Discussions for a given article, the "Last visit" and "Last updated" dates are switched.
For example, I visited the page ^. Under the "Comments and Discussions" section:
Last Visit: 19:11 29 Dec '11
Last Update: 13:35 2 Jan '12
And when I refresh the page, the change becomes:
Last Visit: 21:11 29 Dec '11
Last Update: 15:49 2 Jan '12
Clearly, the Last Update is reflecting the Last Visit, and vice-versa.

The last visit is the time of your last pageview from your previous session. The last update is set as the time the page was rendered.
The values are correct.

Wasn't there a forum called "Back room" just a couple of days ago?
I don't see it in the forum list on the left side of the screen?

The forum is still there. It's presence in the left hand menu is no longer required.

And how are we supposed to get there if there is no longer a link?
I browsed through the menus and found nothing that looked like a link to the backroom.
WTF is going on here?

Errhmm, never mind I found it in your sticky post of the Lounge.
Still wondering though what made you remove it from the menus all together.
Are you fearing for CP's reputation
Cheers and happy new year!

So you see in any reason for doing this?
Would you care to enlighten me on this?
Cheers,

I have reflected on this and have consulted the oracles about this and here is what I think...
Although, I have played many a day in the Backroom's sandbox and have come across many a cat turd, I have to admit that the Backroom contributes nothing beneficial to this site. Why advertise that?
If you really want to go to the Backroom, then bookmark the link from an earlier post and use that to navigate.

Pretty sure that a case could be made like that for quite a few of the postings which are not specifically about programming.
After all exactly how many New Years Eve comments are really needed?

The Back Room has served, and will continue to serve, it's purpose. It's still there. However, I'm no longer willing to advertise it. Those who use it know where it is or can find it easily enough.

The Back Room was actually a stroke of genius. It's akin to the metal anode rod that they place inside water heaters so that the water will attack the rod and leave the water heater alone.
