We JUST ran into this issue on the site I work on (unrelated to blogs or Code Project). Thanks!

I respect a few authors around here, and I sometimes want to view their latest content when I happen across their profile (i.e., without having to subscribe to them or something like that). When viewing an author's articles or tips/tricks, it would be nice if there were an option to sort by creation/modify date. That would also allow me to see the author's most time-relevant material (rather than outdated material).

I'm feeling a bit bitter today. I've seen too many so called "articles" and spam today and it's not even 10:00 yet.
How about in order to post an article you have to have at least 2,000 points and have looked at 5 articles with a score of 4.00 or better, at the very least.
Maybe I'm serious about this, and maybe I'm not...

Someone needs a cookie.
In all seriousness: use the flag to report items that are substandard. The more we do this, the more we clean up the content and make the experience better for those who read after us (and hopefully others will have cleaned up the debris before we, ourselves, are firing up CodeProject in the morning)
cheers,

I was thinking about something a little stronger, like a 5th of Gentleman Jack and a can of Coke.
I already use the flag. It's just very disheartening to see a constant stream of "articles", supposedly written by university grads or higher, that don't supply ANYTHING in the way of a discussion of the topic, let alone a coherent discussion. How on earth does anyone get around in this business without the ability to convery an idea to another person??

There are days when a bottle of something volatile is sorely needed in this office too.
This is all part of a larger discussion though: Just looking at those who are licensed to drive a car often fills me with despair. And fear.

And yet in Canada they made you go through a road test to get a license, ignoring 2 decades of driving experience.

Get them before they get you I always say. That way, you already know it's coming.
As far as the "articles", it's gotten to the point where you can just look at the title and know for certain what you're going to see for quality when you click on its link.

I have nearly caused at least two major traffic accidents... thankfully, other more experienced drivers were able to prevent them. My earlier mistakes are why I now am paranoid of other drivers.

There is no need to fear me Chris. Canada is a gun-free zone.

Actually, this isn't such a bad idea. I've seen an uptick in the number of spam "articles" attempting to get free advertising for various products.

Since changing employer a few months ago, and updating my Code Project login email, I've stopped getting the daily insider email.
I've checked with our IT guys who have confirmed they aren't blocking emails from this domain, and can see CP emails coming in to other people in the company. Any ideas?

Doh, I hadn't seen the rather obvious yellow bars around the CP site asking me to reconfirm my email address. Oh well, sorted now.

Recently I'm not getting mail notifications only for forum messages(replies). But I'm getting mails for comments(reply to Q/A answers) & also receiving newsletters.
BTW I just want to remind this feature(Suggestion: Notification area[^]), I'm not sure about personal mail access at my new work place(soon) so that feature will be very useful for us.

Agree, same with me, not getting notifications for forum message replies.
