Why is it not a proper tag?

As per my knowledge , Tag is use to specify category of question.
For example C , C++ , C# , SQL, Database , Managment , iPhone , Mobility
"e.g" is phrase and not feasible to use as tag of question.

|
|
|
The problem here is that in your original question you omitted to mention where this offending tag could be found.
Unrequited desire is character building. OriginalGriff
I'm sitting here giving you a standing ovation - Len Goodman

Here it is
[^]
Please see the tag of this question
|
|
|
|

It would be better to edit your original question and make the problem clear. A single character link is easy to miss.

Hi Chris,
I just noticed that the Reputation Graph is not visible in the profile section. I don't know whether it is a known issue and hence just reporting here.

Hi Kunal Chowdhury,
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for reporting.
The graph is back.

I remembered I have more than one:
- I would really like to have another field in members setting: something like "Display name" or "Full name" (or even both) as opposed to the CodeProject identification name. Initially, it could be assigned DbNull or empty string or initialized to the ID name for new members, but in all such cases it would be possible to modify it.
When I realized that I could put any name, even a name with blank spaces and when few people asked me about my real name, it was too late — my full name Sergey A Kryukov was already taken by another member (this is because all three parts of my name are relatively popular in Russia, but for exact spelling showed above Google finds me at first line). Also, many people knew me by my short signature "SA", many people called me by that nick at work. At the same time, I don't want to loose my old ID "SAKryukov". Believe or not, I received few personal e-mails from people who trusted me to answer their questions or told me they track and read all my posts (hard to believe though but very touching).
I'm sure some other members would take benefits from such field(s). Some have very memorable IDs not very suitable for personal addressing like "Dear wonderFool,..." (yes, there is a member named "wonderfool").
I hope this suggestion makes sense. - I would suggest that "United State of America" (or any really existing country) should not be used as default for the county of residence. It's obvious that in many cases it was taken as default and actually meant to be "I don't care", which would be perfectly all right if would make some difference with those who intended to specify this country.
Rather, you should not allow creation of an account until a newcomer selects all required items; and this item should be required (mandatory). After all, you can reserve such country value as "not specified" or, say, "Wonderland" . - A minor flaw which irritates sometimes: [Main menu] => "Articles" => "Search" => http://www.codeproject.com/search.aspx[^].
Default search set: "Everything" is selected, next item — "Articles" — is not unselected as well as all other item. Isn't that logical that only "Articles" should be selected by default?
I would also suggest not to mix up "Everything" with other options which otherwise act like a bit set, which is good. The usual well-expected and clear style is this: all check boxes represent bit set options (without "everything"), but there are "Select All" and "Unselect All" buttons. This is no so critical though.
Thank you very much for considering this.

Default location could be "Somewhere in the Interwebs"

I would like to know where there is information on member awards here for the site. I see other awards/icons next to members, minus the MVP. POH and ASP..dev have "protector" shields and Walt Fair has an old Windows "editor" icon.
I think Nish said that only the top 40 get the MVP award but I was wondering about the other possibilities.
Thanks.

Doesn't really list any metrics though.

I doubt that those are given on the base of some metrics. They have been here before the reputation system as we know it has been introduced to Codeproject. Back in those days when we only had Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, and no categories like debator...

I have special Jedi powers? Well, obviously my Yoda persona does, but I was not aware of any others. I just liked having a spanky-dank new icon.

Speaking of rewards, icons etc, how did you get the 'mentor' icon?
