Why is there not a Code Project app for droid? I suggest that one be developed.

FYI, it's a tip/trick... perhaps there are different RSS feeds for articles and tips/tricks.

I suggest breaking the display of article's listed on the main page into two separate tabs or sections in the same tab. One for "new" and one for "updated", with "new" showing first or at the top.
I feel this would bring more organization to the front page and make it easier to find "new" articles.

I think a great idea for navigating the forums would be a page that links to the threads you are currently participating in.
This would enable quick access to your conversations. It could have links for, say, the 10 most recent threads.
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

Yes that would be good.
A bit similar, I'd be also interested in the full list of threads I have started, i.e. all top-level forum messages I created over time (and I would look at them chronologically). Adding the option "top level forum messages" to the search page would do that in fact.

Come to think of it, you can do that already if you have a non-trivial word ("difficult") that always shows up in your signature:
- use the search page
- search for that particular word
- specify forum messages
- check "just my stuff"
- sort by "date created desc"
And then you can turn it into a "saved query" (haven't done that for a long time).
|
|
|
|
|
There's also the "My messages" page that can be of help.
|
|
|

|
I didn't see that!

I have been getting the Daily News for years to my email. At the top of the email is the "View on-line at" and a link to the Web version of the page. Because of the email package I use and my usage patterns of leaving them for a day or two, I ALWAYS click on the link and not bother with the rest of the email.
Recently; today for example, I received the email:
Subjet: Re: CodeProject | Daily News - It's an OOP world... is it? ...still?
and there is no link anywhere on the page for viewing on-line.
Is this a bug, feature or ???

Someone posted the exact same thing 5 posts below. They are implementing a new newsletter thingammyjig, and that feature won't be available for a while.

I would like either one point added to, or one point subtracted from my Editor Points.
I currently have an odd number, and as there are 2 points awarded for an edit, it means I can never get to a nice round number.

If you stop looking at your points, your pain goes away. It's a simple solution, and will free you from so much mockery.

It is simply the knowing that it is wrong that is annoying.
Like when I watch TV and the volume is at 19, that annoys me.
15 is ok, 20, 25, 30... they are all ok, but if it is 31 that is wrong.
