Thanks mate. I've been having trouble prioritising lately. Do I put in an Elephant Filter for Michael Martin, check again with the port authorities to see if they have spotted JSOP, rework everything for our Opera users or continue working on my "Four Seasons" set of new emoticons? You have a knack of cutting through to the core issues.

With mobile and tablet devices becoming popular, I also think you need to increase the priority of the mobile website.
CP is one of the few top-dev sites that is imposisble to browse on mobile devices. The corporate guy in you may not see it that way, but surely the geek in you would!

I must be doing something wrong because I browse CodeProject with my iPhone every single day.
But - as I've said a zillion times before - I will be revamping the mobile version. Until we can break the 24hrs in a day limit, patience will have to reign supreme.

I want to post some linux related topics here. Are these topics welcome here? If not, I will try to post it somewhere else. Thanks ...

There's a forum[^] for discussing things and questions in Q&A can be tagged "Linux".

I have been always using the on-line submission and I never encountered any problem. But recently I try to submit an article related to WCF Rest service, but I encountered the following problem.
I had no problem to create the article, but after I updated the content and submit the change, I get the following error:
There was a problem creating your article.
The filename did not contain valid characters
I repeated it a couple of time and shortened my article path, but it is still the same. I did not upload any file yet. I have tried this on Chrome, Firefox, and IE.
Any help is appreciated ... Thanks

We've tested with our accounts and your own account and we cannot replicate the issue. We'll keep trying, but please let me know if you see any change.

Hi Chris,
I have tried to update it again, and I did not have any problem. If I see any problems in the future, I will let you know.
Thanks for the help ...

Yes but with border. Also share the step after you achieve it
|
|
|
|
|
Create it using standard HTML, so you would do it like this:
This is inside | a td element | This is inside | another td element | This looks like this in code:
<table border="1">
<tr>
<td>This is inside</td><td>a td element</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>This is inside</td><td>another td element</td>
</tr>
</table>

No problem. Just use this sparingly.

No that was my suggestion not a question and second thing . If you see the responses to that thread . It only have output. No steps which would suggest how to do it.
But thanks to Pete O'Hanlon who figured out exactly what I want and give me steps to do it.
Hope this explain why I have used some KB of space in your code project database to add my question (which is added by me first time)

you obviously missed the use this sparingly bit from the very helpful Mr. Pete O'H.

Fed up by FireFox memory leaks I switched to Opera and now CP doesn't perform its paste magic, so links will not be offered. Sorry.
