That's a little weird.
We're working on revamping the entire article versioning system this week to make it impossible (OK, incredibly, insanely unlikely) that stuff like this can happen.

Spoken like a true dev, there is always a get-out clause, just in case the incredibly insanely unlikely happens.

I enabled profile popups and almost immediately had one that wouldn't go away.
To the CP Staff, have you figured out the issue yet?
I have a screenshot of what happened. I will email it to you if you want.

Hi,
I'd like to suggest that you may can improve the bookmarks. I've bookmarked 12 pages and even when I've bookmarked something yesterday I usually have to search for it. Maybe at least an option when it was bookmarked would be great.
Or an option to show all on one page or search within bookmarks or maybe someone has a better idea.
Regards

the CP search page[^] has a "My Bookmarks" checkbox, maybe you could use it.

Thanks but yesterday I've added a bookmark that I want to read today... but what was the topic... what are the search keywords?

When I click on any Message in Article page, the page Title changes to message title. Now I don't know the article title and I'll have to scroll to the top. Imagine having many tabs are open. Seriously btw, whats the point of changing page title ? Isn't clicking on it obvious enough ?

I have given an answer in Quick Answers c++.
How can I concatenate 2 arrays by using reference operator '&'?[^]
At one point the answer was upvoted and that resulted in -20 points which is counter-intuitive to say the least.
Also although 3 votes were given I can only find records of 2.

I see 2 upvoted events (5 and -20) and one accepted (25). I take it upvoted and accepted are the same thing?

Please refer to:
perl code for extracting xml tag values and converting into CSV[^]
Both messages were tagged (I think with c++), but color schema was just ugly, so I tried the manual edition with "perl" and it worked.
Maybe would be worth to check all admited code tags and add the missing ones to the code drop-down menu on posting board

I've added a couple of missing entries, but not all since some that we support are used very rarely, and I want the dropdown to be manageable.

Just landed on a question via google and found the Stack overflow style QA format. Really happy to see it and planning to use CodeProject (CP) once again.

Still waiting to hear what CP is proposing to combat this rather irksome issue. I realize you've been busy with rootadmin but this still lacks resolution and people are still doing drive-by down-voting for no apparent reason.

Unless it’s very obvious vote-abuse (one member down-voting dozens of posts), I don’t think the admins will (or should) interfere. Voting here is kinda democratic and based on member/post popularity. What most high-rep members have here (either consciously or purely inadvertently) is a friend-base so that their posts get a lot of 5-votes which usually make up for the 1-votes. Of course that usually involves being nice in general in the forums (which works out well because that ensures that CP’s higher rep members are all typically good folks). While you can’t prevent the odd 1-vote every other day, in general if you post with maturity, you’ll find that the 5 votes out-gun the 1 votes.
