It could be that the article submission wizard either needs to be limited to users with a proven article track record, or they get queued to be reviewed by an editor and then added.

I think the submission wizard will lose its meaning then.

i notice that a post with a single '5' rating will be colored red, but a post with one or even two '1' ratings won't always be colored gray.
what's the magic formula?

From the FAQ:
If a message has been given a score that is below your noise threshold then it will appear dimmed out on the boards. A message must have at least 5 votes and be below your threshold to be grayed out.
Messages that have been voted greater than 4.5 will be marked as red regardless of the the number of votes it has.

If I click on "Send to a friend" on the left side of an article, a form is shown to enter the user's name and email address and the recipient's email address. However, if I'm logged in, I would like to see the user's name and address field initialized with my data.

No, the correct forum would be the forum on the article page itself, which can be found when you scroll down to the very bottom of the page. Please report this issue to the article author himself and not here. This forum is for suggestions/complaints for the site admins, who look after the entire site. The links on the articles are a concern of the article authors, and hence should be reported to them.

There should be a separate discussion forum for Bitmaps and graphics.
I'll be grateful we could have one as early as possible
Thanks

Gaurav,
Please don't post the same thing twice. The admins of the site are working very hard to keep the whole thing running and it is not polite to run them over with requests, and more requests, of the same nature. Every post made in this suggestion forum is emailed to the webmaster, so he knows what is going on. No need to post multiple times to make it more visible.
Regards,
Rohit Sinha

I'm not sure whether we need another forum for Bitmap and graphics. The language forums pretty much cover any code relating to displaying graphics and the general discussions forum is useful for questions on drawing tools and finding free bitmaps on the web.
What kind of discussion on Bitmaps and graphics are you wanting?

I changed my picture a few weeks ago. It worked but I just noticed it went back to the old one. So I tried to change it again. It doesn't accept the picture even though it's well below the limits (11.4 KB and 150 X 132)
