If you reached the link from a search result then this is by design. Search (eg Google) may provide a link to a question, but the content it thinks you want could be in a different question, so we expand them all to help you scan a little easier.

I am using IE 11.
If I reply to the following link
http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/4752784/Ethernet-code-for-talking-to-Hardware-I-O.aspx[^]
And then I select the entire line that is in bold and hit the "Quote Selected Text" button it gives me a popup that says "You did not select any text to quote".
If I select part of that line, and do the same process then it works.
This has been happening to me for a while but this is first time where it was easily identified as to how it did and didn't work for me.

I have noticed the same[^] and I've come to the conclusion that I can't quote anything containing markup code.

Just a thought: the APOD postings appear quite popular: perhaps a link on the home page to the image of the day would be nice.

Is there a way I can block a member? Make him/her unable to view my account or reply to my posts?

Have I offended you?

Not on your own no. You would require others to help you get them thrown off the forums. Seems a bit extreme to me. If someone is irritating you, just ignore them. If you don't respond people usually give up.

The thing is he/she keeps reporting me for no reason and I'm afraid of the worst...

So what good would blocking them from replying to you do. They would still be able to report you.

Blocking them from replying to me andalso blocking them from reporting me

So, potentially a clever spammer could set it so that NO members could report them. Not a good idea.
A better bet is to have a word with Chris/Sean to ask them to take a look and possibly have a quiet word with the person who is reporting you.

have you seen Sean lately

He will be very lonely if he blocked all members. Not a good idea also.

The best way is not to respond to their posts.

Can I know who is the member that reported me?

No. To prevent "revenge" downvoting that information is not shown

These things happen on an open forum like CodeProject. Don't fret about it, it isn't doing you any real harm.

For the past too days I noticed that articles that approved - and had images and linked files then, are missing all here files when came out to the public. The authors have to go back for a second round...
What I saw that the link changes from image.png to 12345/image.png (the number is seems to be the article no) and the physical image is gone.
It's possible that the hamsters didn't got their seeds so eating our files?
I'm not questioning your powers of observation; I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is. (V)
