Works now, thanks!

I'd like to have the possibility to merge revisions of articles, or at least have the ability to decide which ones are major or minor revisions.
Reason, I have an article that has 14 "real" revisions but due to my fighting with the design in the online editor, there are 56 existing revisions, which should be of less interest for most people

So something like a "Mark as minor" button that allows you to demote (hide) revisions?

Sounds good to me.
Would this be reflected on the revision count?

Unchecking references to obsolete .zip files in this article: Google Translator[^] doesn't seem to remove them from the article after I hit "Publish". The files I'm trying to remove are:
googletranslator_src-noexe-noexe.zip
googletranslator_src-noexe.zip
These files continue to show up in the code browser. The article should only contain googletranslator_src.zip .
Thanks,
/ravi

Do you mean "remove them from the HTML" or "physically remove the files"?
For the former, you need to click the "Add selected zip files to article" link - that will refresh the links in the HTML.
For the latter you can just click the delete "X" button next to the files in the file chooser.

All good now - thanks!

When I create a new message under the category: "Weird and Wonderful", it says "In Page: Hall Of Shame" as a sub-title.

I know it's still the fourth in other parts of the world, but the fourth is so yesterday if you live in Australia! Can we have some timezone-based localisation?
For posterity, I'm referring to the site banner displayed on the 4th.

It's actually meant to be time-zone dependant. Let me add this as a bug.

Should it have been checkboxes?
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Yes it should have. I've restarted it.

I was just looking at the profile page and It just hit me. We already are asking users to provide their twitter handle so that we can redirect the visitors to their twitter accounts. Why not have a small portion on this page showing the members twitter feed.
A small Javascipt app embedded in this page which will just use the members twitter handle and pulls out the latest tweets. Perhaps there are some plugins that are already available for integration.

I'm not sure what it would add to the site. People have lives and opinions outside of programming that don't always fit in with a programming site. We'd essentially be republishing a firehose of unmoderated content that may be inappropriate.

True, but what harm could it do if it's only visible on the profile page of the user (I think that's what the OP intended ), something like the last 10 public tweets of the user, so that the person viewing the profile can get an idea of what the twitter account is putting out there and decide right there if he wants to follow or not.
I think the beer is getting to my head, cause I can't believe I actually just defended the use of twatter, time for a cold shower (freaking heater is out of order so no choice on that )

I don't think this is a good idea. When I am posting in twitter, it can be any content from my foolish jokes to my personal opinion on politics.
Some may not like it and it will result unnecessary flame war.
cheers,
Super

It used to be possible to get a categorized RSS feed by using urls like the following:
general articles: /webservices/articlerss.aspx?cat=1
android articles: /webservices/articlerss.aspx?cat=22
etc...
however, if i use the cat=<anything> parameter on the url I receive nothing.
has this been disabled, changed, something else... ?
