HI,
Hope you all are fine, may I know why there is no tech blog reputations in the flair? It must be there something like below image right? I am giving the link to image as I could not find any option to upload image here.

Default gravatar option doesn't work and I dont' know why. CodeProject just doesn't want to display my gravatar.
I've resized one of my photos to 150x150 less than 20kb in .jpeg format. When I select this file and click save in my profile settings, CodeProject fails with an error, which says nothing helpful.
What the hell am I supposed to do in order to correctly set my profile avatar?

Try unchecking your Gravatar box. Hit save my settings. Then upload your picture and hit save my settings again. It's a tricky bug. We're still scratching our heads. Apologies.
Thanks,

Those who implemented such a user experience must be stoned to death. Apologies.

That's a bit harsh, considering that bugs usually aren't implemented on purpose..

I can vote on my own tip/trick. Is this by design?

Yes. There's no reason you can't like your own content.

Reddit's voting system auto-upvotes your submissions. So the moment you post something, you've already voted for it. Maybe CP should do the same. I also need to see how to quickly go through all my articles and make sure I've upvoted them all.

Most content you post cannot be upvoted using your own account. Just saying.

As I recall, Chris has said that it is OK, not a bug. There are some things you cannot upvote of your own. For example Forum Posts and QA stuff cannot be upvoted with your own account. But apparently some other things can. It's only 1 vote so it shouldn't matter much in the long run.

Lots and lots of "old" posts appearing in QA list suggesting recent updates. I'm not seeing any updates ... unless it's someone going around deleting all of their old posts?

I think that's me deleting answers. So if some guy is adding more to his question in a solution, or there is a spammy answer that got reported, that must count as it being "active." Which probably shouldn't be the case. We'll look into that. Thanks for the report.

Just had a thought - if stuff is being added then it's actually good that it appears as "active". Several of us have spotted a lot of spam and site-driving that way. Plus sometimes OPs post responses to comments as solutions, so the reappearance at the top of the list gives us a chance to tidy that up for them (or advise them how).
But if something is deleted then that's when the problems occur. These are frequently where an answer has received 3 reports on a spam or inaccurate answer. These pop up to the top again which often prompts further activity on the post, or they swamp the list so genuine questions get buried (sort of what happened yesterday).
Good luck sorting this out

I just bounced a spammy answer out of moderation to a question from 2011 - how to convert string to XML using .Net[^]
Question has moved to the top of Active list but nothing new was attached. Potentially related to member profiles showing x-message posted when in fact they've all been killed in the moderation queue.
Not a problem per se, just extra info for as and when you look into the problem above

I see an automatic refresh going on when I tick the "Articles" only filter (from "Everything") but the sort never materializes.
Something is also deticking the "Articles" box so that nothing shows ticked.
Steps to duplicate this problem:
1. type search text above
2. tick Articles (refreshes and tick disappears ... but page return count seems small enough to suggest that this return IS only "Articles" and not "Everything" (10957))
3. from Relevance move selection in "Sort By" to Created (New/Old)
4. refresh automatically comes back with "Everything" ticked and ALL THINGS CP (365440 from 10957)
Neither fireFox nor IE8 sustain the tick. Can you imagine? Getting Lounge posts while doing a serious code search? ( )

Yep, something is definitely broken. I'm off sick today, but will have a look as soon as I can.

Just a thumbup,
On this issue, the unsorted refresh and the revert to "Everything" even though "Articles" is primarily the object, there is (now) this ability of mine to use IE8( yes, why indeed ...) and ... perhaps an undeclared factor to the rhyme described in my "steps-to-duplicate" above ... I'm jiggy with it.
Do you care to know the missing observation? Quickly, it's this interrupted format interrum that is delivered during the auto-refresh where there's a single columnar display of the formless server return; as if everything were plaintext and void of any actionable link. As a user I have the local option at this point to GO BACK or REFRESH. BEFORE a refresh produced the yellow yeild giving me info about completing my transacation. NOW I'm wise that weird generic complaint and ... don't hit the refresh just do a GO BACK.
Which as I said, returns me to SOMEWHERE inbetween the auto-refresh return and judging by the shorter record count is indeed the "Article". The error flummux was because I tried to SORT BY Create(New/Old) but the sideeffect of GO BACK seems to be this proper SORT.
So, Easter 2017's on it's way! Thanks!

I don't know where you got that link from but I tried the unsub link on today's Daily Build and unsubscribed myself. Worked just fine. According to your settings, you aren't subscribed to the daily build. If you still received it somehow, please forward the last one received: sean@codeproject.com

I got that Link from todays The Daily Build. I unsubscribed "by hand" after I posted this issue. Shall I resubscribe and test tomorrows Daily Build Link?

Windows 10 64bit EDU, Outlook 2016 64bit, current Firefox 64bit beta, current official Chrome.
Maybe I subscribed way back, in a time then something related to the link generation was different/buggy.
Moreover, on regularly bases The Daily Build emails are not shown in Outlook. I saw this behavior across different Version of Outlook. For example, The Daily Build from 21 Mar 2016, 18 Mar 2016, 16 Mar 2016, 15 Mar 2016, 9 Mar 2016, 7 Mar 2016, and many more are just plain white in Outlook 2016 but displayed correctly on my android phone.
