I've managed to make some sense of it. The problem appeared to be with the </span>. When I put a space in there, it rendered okay.

Thank you, but now it has wrong quotes around...

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Write some content
2) paste some code
3) Select the code, select format, select the language
4) Put many more contents
5) Put second code snippet. Format it. You realised you pasted wrong code.
press ctl+z. voila, every trace of every single character that you composed are washed away. They do not recover with ctrl+z or ctrl+y or whatever you try.(it will not even be present in draft and draft will be current version:- blank)
Fix:
Never use undo after you have pasted a code. Manually select the wrong code and delete.
Is it only with Google Chrome + Windows 10 +me or anyone else has seen this weird bug?

Bug A:- URL Change
Steps to reproduce:
1) Start composing an article without selecting category on the top.
2) Upload some images and embed them in the article. Works
The urls are like /KB/110010/img1.png
3) Come back, select a category Say IoT services. Publish the article. Bang. Images gone. Reason?
URL now gets changed to /KB/IoTService/img1.png
Note: In this bug images will not be shown even in preview mode.
Bug B- Resizing ( less frequent, difficult to trace)
1) Have an image of size 2000x1000. Place image in article- Works. double click on the image in Article composing mode, resize , change width to 700. Works.
2) Now upload an image of size 753x681. resize and change width to 700- Works only in compose mode. Image doesn't show up in publish mode.
Cure:- Don't resize those images which are shown in article but not in publish ( they will be automatically resized. With odd value of Width/Height this is more common.)
Looks like some image ghost is haunting me. Had to fix images of about 13 articles in a week, several time was very frustrating. Hope Chris and team take a note and fix it.

Thanks for this. I replied to a previous message showing the issue within the HTML, but these may provide me with more info on why the full URLs are appearing. I'll dig in.

Is the image control of submission wizard and also image uploading process kind of buggy? I uploaded all the images of my article with no problem, all of them are < 3 MB and has .jpg/.png extension. Then linked up with corresponding image components inside the article. After publishing the article i found all of the images as blank!!
Then i again linked up the image controls with uploaded images and when i push publish right side pane where all the uploaded image resides are just blank displaying a message "Images not found"!
So what can i do now? I am again now linking the uploaded images with inside image controls of the article! 3 times now for a single task..!
What's the problem here folks?

The images all seem to be there when I check.
In future it's best if you provide a link to your article. That will save us time hunting it down.

The 'Our community' box on the homepage contains the latest (intresting?) posts (mostly from the lounge).
I noticed that the count is off for the first one. Assuming the number is the count of reply's to the post + 1 for the post itself, that does seem to be the case for the others in that list.
It's off by 1, at first I thought it was caching but after several refreshes and waiting a bit, there was another reply (starting looking at it when there was only 1 reply) and the count on the homepage instantly went from 3 to 4 (while the actual count was 2 to 3).
Only thing else I can think of is there is a reply in moderation? But I can't check that (no rights) and OG is on duty (first reply was his from 5 min ago) so ...
Link to image as proof (sort off):

Not at all important but I guess my OCD is kicking in again.

Looks like Google Drive is down ATM (getting an error page).
I think there was a post about this a while back, noting that the forum also showed that there was a new message, when there really wasn't.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Strange, I can still go to my drive and access the pic but the link doesn't work.
It did at the time of posting, I tested it in 2 browsers (just to be sure there was no login needed) so I guess it will come back up again.

@Nelekk
It seems to happen with all users, when at the beggining of the message

@Sean-Ewingtonn
Edit: Funny enough.... the "n" will be only added if the "summon" is at the beggining of the Message (see above)
Original Message:
I don't know others have faced it with other users, but...
Everytime I use the @ with Sean, an additional "n" will be written out of the hyperlink
i.e.: @ + Sean-Ewington --> @Sean-Ewington
Is that a bug? Does it happens with other users?

I think it has something to do with the number of chars posted... as the @ triggers another process but it gets replaced by the hyperlink. I mean... total chars of the first line is n(nick) + 1(at), the hyperlink only replaces the "n" of the nick, so the last letter remains in plain text
But yes... that only happens at the beginning of the message and not in the middle... is a bit odd

The elements in This list each start with a hyphen, then a space, then the text...
However, the markdown does not produce an unordered list.
Just wanted to report it.
