Thank you

It is easy to do yourself From here: CodeProject Member FAQ[^]
There are a few ways to do this. One way is to go your membership settings https://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/Modify.aspx and look under your profile picture and check the box that says, "Close my account:"

There are two kinds of people in the world: those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

That was exactly my first thought when I read the thread. But of course I can not afford such a comment.

I accidentally reported this member.
Would it be possible to remove the reports from him?
Thanks!

Not sure if this is related to the database updates?

For last 20-30 mins I was getting below error message when I opened home page. It happened in Chrome Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit).
Error Page Error. err...
Unfortunately it seems that our error handling page has, ironically, an error. It's going to be one of those days.
Click here to return to the homepage. But it worked in firefox at that time. Not sure what's the issue.
Currently I'm able to open CP in Chrome.

I've been doing a bunch of deploys that included some messy database stuff which was causing some outages.
Please let me know if it's still affecting you. As of 20 mins ago things had settled down but you k ow how these things go

Apologies for the timeouts. Chris is "fixing" some things. The site seems mostly OK now, but I will still pray for Mr. Maunder down in the engine room.
Thanks,

I'm not signed up for any Codeproject newsletters (Nothing is checked on my Newsletters & Emails settings tab).
How do I dismiss that annoying red notification without signing?

Are you still seeing this?

First time I noticed the "notifications" was about two weeks ago.
Seems like it might be useful.
However, I now have 185 pages of unread notifications. I can clear them, but only by doing one page at a time. So "Select All" (sets flag on visible page) then "Mark Selected as Read". Then do it for next page.
Be nice to have a way to either really select all or just clear all of them.

I can't see the text at the moment, but isn't there a "Clear" or "Mark all as read" button at the bottom of the page?
EDIT: It's actually at the top of the page, and it's "Clear all".

Ah!!!
You are right. I figured that just meant the ones that had been selected.

The status row on the top says I have 1 notification, but if I click it, there is nothing?

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.
