Yes, definitely less than helpful. Maybe Sean will respond.

Unfortunately once the message has been reported, I can't see what your message was either, so I am unable to tell you what was wrong with it. Also, I don't recall marking your message as spam, and I typically don't mark messages from known members as spam as a general practice. I also find it strange that the message says your account is deactivated but it seems to be working just fine. Very mysterious.
In any case, our apologies for the confusion.
Thanks,

I accidentally click the spam button trying to see the votes. This deactivated the account.
I reactivated it once I realized what I had done.
Sorry for the confusion.

Profiles for low-rep user accounts quite rightly don't allow a home-page link, or links in the bio.
The spammers seems to have cottoned-on to this restriction. They've started embedding their links as QR codes in their profile picture. Eg:
Perhaps it's time to start restricting the display of profile pictures below a certain rep-point threshold as well?

Or just use a reader to check if it is a QR code and specifically ban those ones?
That's more work, but it's more friendly for newbies.

I should have read your message before replying.
It's actually pretty easy.

Clever, but at this point I don't want to make newcomers feel that unwelcome. Cranking down the screws helps, certainly, but there's a point where it hurts the good guys more than it dissuades the bad guys.
Having said that, Uzi Granot has kindly shared his QR code library[^] that probably makes it trivial for us to do a quick sanity cbeck and simply ditch images with QR codes...

Lol, what a farsighted logic! Same is valid for other pictures with abusive content and also any text.
Think about it... is not more the content of a qr code/any other pic which can be problematic?

I submitted a question and was met w/ a message stating more or less "too many posts" and "should ease up tiger" Is this because I submitted a Trick/Tip the same day and another a day or two ago? The question is displayed when I click on My Questions but w/o any indication it has not been posted in fact it states "Posted 23 minutes ago". It is not displayed when I click on View All Questions. If there is a limit on posts why did not the message state the limit? I read the Terms of Service but saw nothing re/ limits on posts Kindly advise

Q&A has been having issues lately (being completely and utterly broken yesterday. See threads below).
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

It's been ten hours since the last question was posted, so I tried posting a test one:
All I got was:
There was an internal error creating the item.
That explains the long gap, I guess ...

Found the issues
1. A database change wasn't reflected properly in one of the sprocs
2. Our health monitoring completely failed to alert us
#1 was 30 secs. #2 is the one that's concerning us the most

How long until the fix is deployed? I'm still getting the error posting a solution.

Judging by the fact that the last answer seems to have been posted 19 hours ago now, I'm guessing this affects everybody.

And I mean blank. Not only no returns but no left-justified controls.
Steps to duplicate:
1. Search[^]
2. See options left
3. Hit refresh
I would expect many people to hop on this bugger. But I guess noone is USING a feature of CP as the constructive feature that it should be.
[Edit]
I see that search returns rains down at last ... but this latency is fresh. It's probably only me and my ... wIfI.

Works fine now; sorry. It is me.

Actually, there are two search boxes on the page. One was broken as you described.
I'm currently deploying the fix.
