Funny enough, the "delete" widget in other people's message is active for me.
The "delete" in my own messages is not.
Not sure if that has to do with my badge... I thought the protector "remove" is the red "X" in the subject line.

Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

Software that grows over decades is not (always) easy. Right now, I'm also struggling to understand what I was doing about 20 years ago but need to fix a bug (und dies ist zum Mäuse melken)

The thing is:
You don't see "in moderation" in the list of answers (like in other forums where you see a post 'in moderation') the question simply show 'no answer'
So it looks like something went wrong and post it once again. And after posting again the first post apears as an answer marked as 'in moderation'.

It's a long-standing caching issue on the profile message count.

This is because you've closed your account, then reopened a new account using your old email address.
I'll add this to the bug list

When submitting to Q&A, it validates that you've specified at least one tag. If you correct the failure, you can't submit again. It now thinks you're submitting too quickly, with the admonition "Ease up there tiger" .

I don't understand what you are asking for. Please elaborate.

Right now, if an article doesn't have anm image to use on the home page, it shows a generic document kind of image. I thought it would be more interesting to use the author's avatar if one is available.

Article in question - Entity Factory - Get Your ORM-less Freak On![^]
I updated this article a day or so ago, and noticed this morning that the thumbnail images are gone. The only things I changed in the article were the download file, and the History section at the end of the article.
(I used thumbnail images that open the full-size image in a new tab.)

Worked for me ... but this is the wrong place for such things: Bugs and Suggestions[^] or Article Writing Discussion Boards[^] would be better as the relevant hamsters read them.
