Thank you kindly! Yes the tik-toks and the lawyers and the lawn-repair. If they 'are' IT you can trust your judgement on those. I find it hard to believe they're all here to read or share on CodeProject. I remove some and keep others, more or less based on a "feeling."
Thanks,

So I'm a junior doing an internship, and made a huge mistake including the name of the database of my job when asking a question on this site, yes I'm really stupid I know. My boss told me is a very big deal and is asking me to contact an administrator of this site to have the question deleted, and I would be very thankful if somebody could help me with this. But I can't find a way to contact some Moderator or support to have the question deleted. I'm very sorry for the mess.

Sometimes, we want to make a direct comment to the OP and not broadcast it in public.
There used to be an option for this - reply or email. Several recent discussions - no way to email the OP.
Am I missing something?

It's optional: look at your settings under the "Forums and QA" tab. It's the option "Allow private email replies to my messages". Disable it, and the "Email" option disappears from your posts.
Some people prefer to disable it even if it doesn't expose your email address to message senders.

Okay, I think I figured this out. I've had this on by default since I joined CP (has it really been that long?). It appears that most people have this on, so I just came to assume it was always there. The individual I want to write I believe has the setting off.

If you find a message from this person, I would suggest you write a message there and see if they respond.

I suggest you need to secure you page in a better way, anyone who have solid foundation of networking can browse on your page internally. However a lot people unvote to accumulate points because they want to and they are addicted to certain prototypes. fix this page can be better, i will see a lot attacking say make better bla bla anyways this mssg its for admin even the user downloads a code that does not help, this site has serious issues.

First of all I am not site-staff, just another user.
Honestly... although I appretiate your warning to the site owners because I like this place, I can't start anything with your message.
If you don't want to give details publicly (what would make sense depending on the issues) you might write something more detailed per email and send it to: webmaster@codeproject.com
If the issues are not that severe and might be discussed openly, then please give some more concrete details so we can check and make a brainstorming, there are other experienced users that help maintaining and testing the site that could be helpful.

I was more clear than the water this is not a thread but if i was you I wont compromise my work and my knowledge when the PAGE has not good Security at all!! peace out and take my advise because everything goes up has to come down one day. Secure your stuff and do not expose for a crapy page do not offer you a security as user.

Then there is need on a second cleanup...
because the survey is again full of closed messages, and there are more legit comments.

Maybe someone else cleaned up before? There were more than 30 when I first posted.
Right now there are around 10 more...

I've been keeping an eye on this as well, and cleaning up occassionally.
