As mentioned in Solution 1, you shouldn't have multiple elements with the same
id
; you should use an alternative method to identify the button.
But you're also going to find that the method you're using to wire up the event handler only works for elements which already exist. It won't handle elements which you add to the DOM later.
To fix that, you'll need to use delegated events.
