how to get a connection string for usercontrol in different projects

i have developed a usercontrol using collections. it contains an app.config file. now i am pacing this control in different project. this project contains its own app.config file. now i want to save the data using this config file. what can be done to do this?

Solution 1

i am not sure that it will help - but you can try to make the ohter project in which you use your cantrol friend to the user control project - using that you will have access to the user control instances
