i have tried this following code..

Configuration myConfiguration = System.Web.Configuration.WebConfigurationManager.OpenWebConfiguration("");
myConfiguration.AppSettings.Settings.Add("Password", txtNewPass.Text);
myConfiguration.Save();

and getting this error::
