Open GeoTiff in Vb.net

I am doing M.sc(Geoinformatics) in Gandhigram Rural Institute,Dindigul,India.I need to open GeoTiff(landsat satelite image file or image contain 7 merged tiff) file format using picture box control in vb.net.It is import and open through system.drawing property of the picture box.But through codings it show error as "debug" when browse and open the image in picture box using openfiledialog control.if it is possible to open Geotiff by code send the .net code to mail [email removed]........this is my part of case study....please give some useful link...thank you
