Do you read Science Fiction (SF)? Many of the tech advances of today were first predicted in science fiction stories - personal computers, the Internet, and even Google. But have you come across a story that featured parallel computations or multiple processors to solve a problem? The Intel� Threading for Multi-Core Developer Community would like to hear about it. So share your taste for SF literature � and win cash prizes.
What you need to do
No Ph.D. is required. Just search your science fiction "memory banks" or browse through your science fiction book collection. Then share with the community the science fiction novel, novella, or short story that contains the reference to parallel computations or multiple processors. Make sure to provide the title, author, page number, and publisher so that our judges can verify your entry. The more entries you submit the better your chances of winning.

- First Mover's Advantage: The first twenty (20) valid entries will get a $25 USD AMEX or VISA gift card.
- Who's the Most Popular? The top three (3) vote getters from the community will get a $100 USD AMEX or VISA gift card each.
