Intel AppUp(SM) show for developers: SDK Optional and Fun with HTML5 Playground

In this episode Bob Duffy talks with Vipul Chopra about the Intel AppUp SDK and the fact that it is no longer a requirement for submitting apps to the Intel AppUpSM center. Bob also chats with Daniel Holmlund, Technical Marketing Engineer, to get a sneak peak at HTML5 playground.

In this episode Bob Duffy talks with Vipul Chopra about the Intel AppUp SDK and the fact that it is no longer a requirement for submitting apps to the Intel AppUpSM center. Bob also chats with Daniel Holmlund, Technical Marketing Engineer, to get a sneak peak at HTML5 playground.

The SDK for app developers is now optional. Learn about some of the advantages of using the SDK, including, services, API, DRM, in-app upgrades, and reporting. Vipul also briefly reviews requirements for both SDK and non-SDK users, such as the silent installer and validation guidelines.

And, the new HTML5 playground allows you to create code, get real-time feedback, and share through social media. In addition to being a lot of fun, this feature allows agile developers to rapidly prototype and share snippets with the Intel AppUpSM community. Daniel demos some of the available tools, include an editing pane with full syntax for HTML5 and code samples from both Intel and the wider community.
