The world is becoming increasingly anxious about the spread of fake videos and pictures, and Adobe — a name synonymous with edited imagery — says it shares those concerns. Does it just look to see if it was saved in PhotoShop?

... Except when it gets it wrong.
It's not part of the solution; it's an extension of the problem.

According to the University of Arizona researchers who operate the HiRISE camera for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, shapes like this "are the result of a complex story of dunes, lava, and wind." So much for the Prime Directive
Not like they ever actually followed it consistently.

In the beginning of 2019, we polled almost 7,000 developers to identify the State of Developer Ecosystem. Alternately, look around you.
Loved that show.

Now if they would only create a Windows 7 Shell to go on top of the core O/S.
All my complaints about Windows 10 boil down to shell activities, the basic O/S is more or less the same as Windows 7.

Cassie Kozyrkov has served in various technical roles at Google over the past five years, but she now holds the somewhat curious position of “chief decision scientist.” Decision science sits at the intersection of data and behavioral science and involves statistics, machine learning, psychology, economics, and more. By adding some good old-fashioned Natural Stupidity to it?
Chief Decision Scientist. /sigh
As someone who has had more than my share of stupid job titles, that one is really pretentious.
I guess it is better than my current: "apprentice waffling doofus"

No wonder Google is having problems; one person has to make decisions for the entire company.

Sure, but "pseudophotosynthesis" doesn't really have a ring to it, and it certainly doesn't roll off the tongue (of anyone who isn't the worst kind of pr0n star) -- but one main main advantage is that it's almost a full tweet on its own, thus limits rabid comments from a certain-coloured person who lives in a certain-coloured house.
Still, I'm sure that a better name could be found for the process.

Look, I experience something like smart indigo which you would also deny because of your limited knowledge but it becomes a big success story I think same happens with the article in question.
[Edit]
For me it looks like...
It seems you have no idea about this aspect but you comment as if you had one. Do not do this in the future.
