A person's distrust in humans predicts they will have more trust in artificial intelligence's ability to moderate content online, according to a recently published study. And if you don't trust either?

Bob Blanton's Starship Sakira/Delphi in Space series generates two sentient AIs. Both become sentient by helping human children.
Scott Jucha's Silver Ship Series (read order: Pyreans, Silver Ships, Axis Crossing) has sentient AIs called SADEs, who have human empathy. The Silver Ships series also shows what can happen if you don't do this.
Microsoft had to pull the plug on "Tay" after it went to the dark side. The programmers didn't inoculate Tay with human empathy.

It is the same with software, the more resources computers have, the more resources waste the programs.

Windows 11 22H2 was just released, and with it comes a new security feature called Enhanced Phishing Protection that warns users when they enter their Windows password in insecure applications or on websites. And what if I want to log into Notepad?

sounds like just machine password, which doesn't need to go to cloud to check hash
what im puzzled on is things like notepad, I would assume this feature is also enabled when bit lock, or drive encryption is on, so would need to log into user to get that file, which you already have user login, so makes no sense.
plus I prefer someone log a list of passwords - but not along side the username for family/friends recover in event of emergencies. passwords on their own should not be scaring people to high heaven, its poor news report, and techno fearing

Quote: Pichai was asked, in a question that was highly rated by staffers on Google’s internal Dory system, why the company is “nickel-and-diming employees” by slashing travel and swag budgets at a time when “Google has record profits and huge cash reserves,” as it did coming out of the Covid pandemic.
