I have created a modal property sheet and on my second page of Modal PropertySheet I have created a modeless property sheet and whenever I perform some action on any control of modeless propertypages and goes directly out of the application,it gets halt, but if you have performed some action on modeless property pages and then make some changed to Modal property page and you go out of the application, this will work perfectly
is there anyone who can solve this problem
i will be thankfull to him or her
thanks

I download the source code of DirectShow capture application(AMCap) ,and when I compile it,there is always a fatal error:can't find the file "streams.h".It also happenes when I compile other codes about DirectShow.
Why?!Need some DDK or....?

Does the file exist on the development machine, or at least in a location that is being searched by the compiler?

Are you sure you don't mean iostream.h?
What compiler are you using, and do you have the latest SDK installed on your machine?

You could need a library called "streams.h" It may or may not have come with the download, and not have been installed in the proper library file.

Yes,I think so.
But where can I find it?After I install DirectX 9.0c SDK,the compiler still can't find it.

-If your problem is a library that has been misplaced by the computer, you can find it using the find under the start menu, and manually move the library to the correct folder.
-Your download may not have included the library and you need to find it on the net.

AFAIR, this is a common header file that all the DirectShow samples use. The header is in a common include folder somewhere in the sample heirarchy. Set the include path appropriately so the compiler can find the file.

Hi guys,
I am trying to format the output of a floating point. The number of digits after the decimal point is decided by the user.
I tried the usual method - prompt the user to enter accuracy--store it in a integer variable called 'accy' and use it while displaying -
m_display.Format("% 0.accyf" , output);
The program doesn't give any error while compiling, but when I run it, an error window pops up saying error in line 613, "abort", "cancel" , "retry".
Anyway around this?

format your format string manually ...
something like :
CString sFormatString;
sFormatString.Format ( "% 0.%i", accyf );
m_display.Format(sFormatString , output)

Use:
m_display.Format("%0.*f", accy, output);

Hi guys,
I am trying to implement the backspace function. The last element of the Cstring should be deleted when the backspace button is pressed.
The data is entered by the used in a text display box.
Thanks in advance.

1. Code to trim rightmost character form CString.
<br />
CString csTemp;<br />
int iLength;<br />
<br />
iLength = csTemp.GetLength();<br />
if( iLength > 1 ){<br />
csTemp = csTemp.Left(iLength - 1);<br />
}<br />
2. Edit field should be handling the backspace keypress already.

I think you meant if (iLength > 0) ...
